peerluk
Hello, I installed all my Assassin's Creed games and for some reason, when I create an auto generated playlist I can't seem to get the "contain" "Assassin's Creed" to show anything. I tried many things and I can see that everything seems to work with other names, but it looks like the String "Assassin's Creed" is not discovered at all. I don't get it. I'm guessing just the apostrophy... Maybe... I have Assassin's Creed II Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Assassin's Creed Revelation platform is equal to "Windows" rom/path name contains "Assassin's" And the result is nothing basically. Thanks for the help
SentaiBrad
What if you try auto-generating based on "Assassin". You might pick up a few other games, but does that return the proper results (more or less). It will tell us, potentially, if the issue is punctuation. peerluk
That's the weird thing, I don't get anything with only "assassin" or "creed" It's like the games don't exist at all.
SentaiBrad
That's strange. I'll forward this to Jason, he might know more.

Lordmonkus
I have messed around a little with the playlist auto generator and there have been a couple of occasions where I had to restart Launchbox to get the new playlist to show up populated. Did you try restarting LB after generating the playlist ?
peerluk
Hmm, That I didn't try. I will try this later tonight.
SentaiBrad
That's even more strange... I hope that helps, but that still seems like a bug.
Jason Carr
Hey guys, I haven't been able to replicate this. I don't have any Assassin's Creed games in my collection but I've tested with games like Fighter's History and haven't run into any issues. @peerluk, did restarting fix anything? Lordmonkus
Another thing I noticed is when you create a playlist it won't show unless you have "Playlists" selected from the drop down menu up at the top left. Or when you create the playlist turn on "Include this Playlist in the Platforms Lists and select the category it's going to show up in. Otherwise your playlist could be created, just hidden. peerluk
No, restarting didn't solve the problem. The playlist is still empty. I added screenshots.
Lordmonkus
Change the "Platform Category" drop down menu to playlists and can you show a screenshot pf the "Details" tab of the Edit Playlist window ?

Lordmonkus
Ok I think I see the problem. In your Edit Playlist window > Auto-Populate tab change the Application/Rom Path to "Title"
peerluk
Wow, ok, yes that was it... I figured that Application was basically Title, apparently not... Thank you for the help, so it's not a bug :\ case closed

peerluk
Hmm strange. At this point I would ask for him to type the command in cli to see the output maybe. I had strange behaviors with retroarch lately if I had the - c only on some cores.
