Playlists in RocketLauncher

HI All - Is anyone else using RocketLauncher? If so, have you figured out how to get playlists to load with custom bezels and fades? Right now if I launch a came from a play list - like Capcom Classics - It will load as Arcade, not as Capcom Classics.

That is because RocketLauncher doesn't see a playlist as a platform, it just gets the game and system name which would be Arcade.

Anyone know of a way (maybe using the command line) to tell RocketLauncher that it is a platform? I woud love to use playlist bezels and fades for not only the arcade playlists but also my custom ones.

@JaysArcade i believe you use RocketLauncher - how do you handle this?

You know, I'm not really sure. I haven't gone that far down the RocketLauncher rabbit hole. If I were to guess, I would think you'll need to make custom platforms for those for those and abandon thinking the new playlists will work with it. If I were you I would post over at the RocketLauncher forum and see if there is a way they can enable parsing the new Launchbox playlist XMLs. Playlists after all are a new thing on the emulation scene. I doubt they have taken them into consideration at this point. But maybe someone that knows better has some ideas. I'd love to hear about them or to know what the Rocketlauncher folks have to say about it.

After further contemplation, I bet it would be difficult to impossible for them to implement this. They would need a way to discern what is in a Playlist and ignore any games in Platforms that are in Playlists. I wouldn't count on this getting much attention. In the short term, I would think you would be better off creating custom platforms if you really need the separation of systems that bad. Not worth the trouble in my opinion, but then again I think the Custom Playlists are mostly fluff anyways. Just my opinion though. Not saying they are wrong, just more than I care about seeing on my cabinet.
