GUYS I'm in need of help, I'm so lost and this post will probably  be all over the place.. I just love launch box that I finally upgraded to premium then noticed  I needed emu movies  so I can have those cool video demos playing I upgraded that to lifetime. I am having trouble with just basic settings it seems, I can't get videos to play like on everyone else bigbox. I have gone through a long  download process to get the videos from emu movies for my collection and also verified some titles do show video clips in the correct folders so I think lol , but when I select a game I just get a static game start screen and the normal box art..... Also on all my platforms beside arcade,cps1 &cps2 I have this weird  box that flips at the top center of the screen and has the platform in question ie gameboy or nes logo like a Game Box. I have almost unchecked all boxes in options. I just unable to find a video on basic set up and what options I should be unchecking

Yeah I can see how it may feel daunting to get it set up with the plethora of options available. Seems like maybe the priorities are checked for screenshot instead of video? My install did everything right by default so I don't even know if that's a priority option or not.  Someone else might be able to chime in on that. I think the rotating box with platform in question is the platform banner.

I would recommend assigning a button or keyboard key  in the Big Box options - Controller Buttons for Switch View. Then change around the views in Big Box to see which one you like.

It sounds like you are using the deafault Big Box theme also, maybe try downloading one of the themes available on the forum made by the community.

Thank you guys so much for the fast responses, yes I'm using the default  theme trying to setup to my liking. I do like the default at this point but I have tried to download some Themes  from the community  also and they don't have some of the issues present that I'm running into however  they also don't have sounds and video demos that I'm looking for. I will try to load some screen shots  of the platform banner I cannot remove. OMG platform banner is GONE still not sure how but Charco I made a hot key like you recommend and cycled a few times and that pesky banner is gone............. Two long frustrating days Thank you guys means alot to receive help  now onto the game video demos . I am able to get background videos to play for respective platform but unable to get the demo videos.

So do any games at all in BigBox show any game play videos?

If you go into LaunchBox and click on a game will its video play there?

If in Launchbox the videos do play when you click on games (you may need to click on the video to play if you do not have it set to autoplay) then we at least know for sure the videos are in the right folder.
