Can't install .NET framework 4.7 to launch Big Box

I'm currently upgrading to the Fall Creators update as a hail mary.  I don't know what else to try.

Hmm, I have installed and run launchbox on a intel nuc Celeron 2820 with 4gb of ram running Windows 10, it ran like shit on it, but it installed and worked.

OK, I am going to tag @Jason Carr into this, cause at the moment I am really confused as to why it wont install at all, hopefully his coding brain will have some advice.

If your Windows 10 was up to date you would already have 4.7 (for months now) without LB trying to install it

Its probably because his PC isn't up to date your getting FCU now did you skip CU in April?

Well, I tried to run the cleanup utility and one of the options to clean up was 4.7, though when I look in C>Windows>Microsoft.NET, the latest version that shows up is 4.0.

Big Box keeps prompting me to install 4.7, though.

I've only had this computer a few weeks.

That should bring you up to date, although I am still concerned as to why your system won't allow the .net update in the first place. It's a newer version so should install and overwrite your current version. The fact that it's saying you don't meet the recommended specs is concerning.

yeah creators update is 1703 which I just realized are the month and the year of the build.
