Phil
hi guys.. question.. How do you remove the overlay in big box. i do not like the look of these images overlapping the main screen intro. let me attach a screen shot of what I mean.. It's probably simple, I just dont know where to find the setting.. (the nintendo control pad image) Thanks for the anticipated help!
Lordmonkus
\Launchbox\Images\Platforms\Nintendo Entertainment System\Banner\ That is where those images are stored, you can just delete them or back them up. For other systems just change the Nintendo Entertainment System for the platform you are looking for.
DOS76
If I remember correctly those banners may recreate themselves automatically and you have to create empty dummy files to fool the program into thinking they are there. .

Mind elaborating on that? I am a newbie to launch box but I too do not like the banners and want them gone. They do re create themselves. There is a description in this thread. basically create a text document with notepad, name it the same as the platform and change the extension to .png or .jpg and replace the images you have with it. Or secondly you could use a different theme that doesn't have those images by default.

neil9000
you don't need to convert it, just right click the desktop/new/notepad name it the same of the platform and change the .txt at the end to .jpg or .png.
