Game won't load

Hello. I'm new here. Recently I downloaded LaunchBox to play Game Com games. I did everything it told me to download games. The problem is, whenever I go to play a game, it asks me to extract it. What did I do wrong? How can I fix this?

More information about what you have setup would probably be useful. As a total guess, maybe you setup some self extracting or ordinary zip file as the emulator in Launchbox?

Sorry that this is a late response but let me try to explain what the problem is. I downloaded everything and did what DropBox asked me to except for one thing, I accidentally did select the box or something to extract all games I downloaded. So anyway, when I went to go play a game, it told me to extract it. Anyway, I was wondering what I could do to fix this and play games.

you should probably post screenshots of your Launchbox emulator setup, and for one of your games with right click edit game option.

What emulator are you trying to use ? My first guess at this is you are pointing to a self extracting executable zip archive and it is trying to extract itself.

Yeah that is a unextracted MAME.exe if ever i have seen one.

Yeah you are definitely pointing to the self extracting zip installer, you need to setup Mame first.
