Playlist Category (Platform View)

Hi,

 

Is it possible to have a playlist category in my bigbox platform view and within that all my playlists in a kind of sub menu. I dont want my final fantasy collection or streetfighter collection in my platform menu i would like a just a playlist option and within that all my playlists.

Yes this is possible but only with Platform categories but not the platform list. You can create a platform category called Playlists and add all your playlists there, just right click a playlist and edit, then check the box to show in platform list, then in the dropdown below just type what you would like the category called. Then you would need to switch Launchbox/Bigbox to sort by Platform Category instead of just Platforms.

It would be so much better if we could add playlists to platform categories without including them in the platform list.  Unfortunately the above solution, as you stated, clogs up the platform view with playlists.  I'd love to use platform categories to organize playlists, but don't want them to appear in the platform view.

You can remove them from the platforms but then you can't have them in the platform categories that is maybe something @Jason Carrwould be willing to consider as that would probably be convenient to users who switch between platforms and platform categories.
