millah22
I have both the Sega CD and 3DO completely set up in Retroarch and they work fine. I followed the tutorial below to import them into LB exactly. This is specifically for the Sega CD but I applied the same process for the 3DO and neither will open in LB. When I try to open a game in LB Retroarch doesn’t even open. Like I said there is no problem within Retroarch including me having all the correct bios files. I’m wondering if there is some bug within the latest version of LB. I’m using LB version 8.1 and the latest Retroarch 1.7.0. There’s another thread talking about this but it devolved into Retroarch setups. Can somebody try to get these to work starting from scratch with the latest versions of LB and RA and let me know if they work? If they work any suggestions for me? Thanks. neil9000
Can we se a picture of your associated platforms tab for retroarch please, wit the two platforms you are having issues with.
millah22
Attached is a pic of my settings. The Sega CD was filled out automatically with the correct core but I had to add the 3DO manually even though I select RA as the emulator. Thanks for the quick response btw. neil9000
Are those two platforms named exactly as they are there on the left list in Launchbox?
millah22
Yes
neil9000
OK, if you right click a game and "Launch with" Retroarch does it load?
millah22
No, nothing happens. I have the files unzipped so they load quickly too. When I'm in RA I can easily select the .cue file and it loads right away.
neil9000
Did you import the .cue into Launchbox?
millah22
Yes, exactly like the tutorial video. I tied it a few times by removing the platform and reimporting them just to make sure I didn’t make a mistake.
DOS76
I believe for 3do you need the iso file and not cue
millah22
Is that specifically for LB because like I said they work fine in Retroarch?
Lordmonkus
If they are working in RA they work in LB as well. Your settings look right so there has to be something weird going on.
DOS76
yeah I'm not sure I just know I used to get black screen using cues so maybe it was my files
millah22
Have any of you tried to import these with the latest version of LB and Retroarch?
neil9000
No I already have Sega CD setup, just tested and it still works. Also the latest Retroarch is 1.7.1.
Lordmonkus
I haven't imported them recently but I have the latest LB and RA and Sega CD works perfectly for me, I don't have 3DO stuff anymore to test it.
millah22
Can one of you copy a fresh LB install and try to import one to see if it works?
