KCJ101
I’ve just started transferring my rom sets from a Hyperspin build on one 8TB hard drive to what will be a Launch box build on a different 8tb hard drive. I’m going to use Emumovies to download new videos ect. I started with the NES set, and it came to 5 gigs used for movies and images. Isn’t that way too large an amount of memory for just NES? What am I screwing up? Thanks for your help!
Lordmonkus
That's probably accurate with all the videos and art work, fan art can be pretty large at times.
Retro808
Would all depend on how much you are actually downloading and also SD or HD videos. I have about 3.1GB (1.8GB video / 1.3GB images) on only 210 NES games in my Launchbox.
KCJ101
Ok good to know. And do you gather the images from Emumovie from Launchbox directly or do you guys use Emumovies seperate FTP? Seems like downloading through Launchbox is very slow.

KCJ101
Ok cool, another question. Is it faster to run Launch Box off an SSD and only use an extrnal HD for file storage like roms/ videos? I currently have the entire system running off an external 8tb hard drive. 1 hour ago, DOS76 said: Speeds vary depending where you are UK seems to be a place with slow speeds for some reason in the US its relatively fast at least for me.
