Launchbox with Arcade64 0.185

Fusion has issues in Windows 10.

I use Retroarch and the GenesisGX core for Genesis games but you can use Mame if you like and it does it pretty good.

In fusion you can try right clicking the exe and going to properties then into the compatibility tab and turning off full screen optimization and DPI scaling.

Genesis games work perfectly fine for me in Mame.

You should setup a 2nd Mame emulator entry in Launchbox. You can point to the same emulator but you need some different boxes unchecked that you need checked for arcade games.

I see, and can i do it in the actual emulator Arcade64 or to a 2nd one like mame64?

I don't know how Aracde64 handles stuff anymore, it's been a long time since I have even looked at it but if it supports non arcade stuff then by all means use that if that is what you prefer to use.

You got something really messed up.

Your first shot is showing something about Streets of Rage 2. The second is some really weird error about a machine named  'Streets'

Yeah, i really don't know. The only thing i did is just to launch the game with MAME-Arcade64. Any other sugestions?

I would suggest trying with the standard version of Mame, that is what I use.

Use Retraorch. It was recommend earlier. Pretty much the go to for Sega Megadrive/Genesis.

Okay I have a 0.197 build of Arcade on my HDD and I tried to test this out and couldn't find any options to play Genesis games so I started looking around and it turns out that there are barely any hash files in the hash folder which is basically where MAME gets the info for software list stuff so I copied my hash files in and now I'm waiting for it to rescan my games and see if Genesis is then listed if not. It may just be that Arcade doesn't want to work with MESS stuff and you may either be forced to use RA or the MAME stand alone version. I'll edit this post when my ROMs finish scanning in and I know more.

Arcade64 doesn't do consoles or other systems.

What's in it?
Arcade games only
NO mechanical games (pinball, crane games, etc)
NO poker, fruit, slot or gambling games
NO computers, consoles, terminals, appliances, etc
NO games that display a black screen (skeleton drivers etc)

I know, that's why i like Arcade64. The problem is that is the same also with original MAME for SOR3 game

using either MAME software list from the UI or launching the No Intro version from in LaunchBox.

Wait, cannot follow you...sor3 works with MAME in LB for you?

How did you do it?, maybe i did something wrong or mix something

I went to manage emulator in LB and editing MAME's associated platform tab I added Sega Genesis as a platform and put in genesis -cart as the command line then I saved that I then exited the menu and went back to LB right clicked the game went to Launch with menu and choose MAME and it started right up just like I knew it would as I've experimented with Genesis games in MAME before.
