I appreciate you wanting to replace Rocketlauncher but an option to disable game startup would have been nice. Its Christmas Eve and MAME games aren't even loading. I've turned off the Startup screen in options and MAME will still not give the game focus, EVEN AFTER ALT-TABBING.

I'm so tired of the best emulator frontend having so many issues that at this point I may code my own version of Attract Mode.

There is an option.

You can even do it on a per emulator basis.

If you turn off the startup screen option, then 9.2 behaves exactly the same when launching games as previous versions did. So if you're having MAME focus issues with the startup screen turned off, then most likely it's unrelated to the new version.

So you said that having an option to disable them would be nice while at the same time you said you had them disabled ?

You have to disable it in Launchbox and Bigbox options...there are two places
