Can you upgrade an expired "yearly" licence?

Out of curiosity, if my licence expired more than a year ago, like 2-3 years ago or so, can I still upgrade or is the upgrade only available at the end of the 1 year? My thinking is that I might be happy with the version that I have at the time of purchase, but a few years later a ground-breaking update may arrive and the question is if I will be able to upgrade to "forever" then or will I only have the options of "1-year"/"forever" licence?

Also, can I change my details, like name/nick and email at any stage or are those permanently assigned to an account?

I believe you can still upgrade but I guess @Jason Carrcould probably answer more definitively.

Yeah, I am fairly certain that you can upgrade the license at any time, even if it's been a couple of years.

Send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com about that, changes can be made but it's not 100% guaranteed to happen.

Yes, just to confirm, you can upgrade even an expired license. You wouldn't want to renew an expired license for another year though, because it will just add a year on to the end of the expired date.
