Jason Carr
New Default Performance View File The 10.9 update should resolve most performance issues, but for users with older systems or who just prefer to have maximum scrolling performance in LaunchBox, several versions of the new default theme are available here with shadows and/or background blurring disabled. dnm
HI, There is a way to eliminate background blur ?
DOS76
Not without knowing how to edit the code. The old theme is still there and you can switch back to it easily if you don't like the blur.
spycat
You can do it by setting the BlurEffect Radius to 0 in the theme's ContentBackgroundView.xaml file. However, I believe a default theme cannot be edited, but it works with the New Default Performance theme. I just tested a copy of the new Default theme renamed as My Default and set the blur radius to 0 which works. Also with the blur radius at 0 the scrolling is much faster, just like normal.
