Kerm
Hi All, Just finishing up a new cab with a 21:9 LCD marquee installed and - as always looking to push things a little further. Has anyone worked on allowing for basic animation on a marquee? Something similar to a theme for a game? Maybe a few elements... Second will BigBox allow for such a thing to happen natively? Just a thought I figured I would mention, maybe someone has already done something and could share?
Retro808
Currently not possible with BigBox's current marquee support (well, it can be coded into a theme, but the performance is not very good). It is possible with a plug-in for BigBox or even scripting an AHK. Jason did advise at some point marquee support would get upgraded. It just narrowly missed out on the poll of current items Jason is working on. It should be on the next poll again.

Headrush69
I played with this previously and since LB has LEDBLinky support, I hijacked this process with an AHK script and used the video player mpv to play a video on my marquee screen and then passed the call to LEDBlinky, Quote mpv.exe -screen=1 -fs -fs-screen=1 I never finished it since I really didn't have the right media for it, but it would need some monitoring functions to quit if the emulator quit and things like that, but the process did work.
