Marquee and game on display1 in virtigo theme

Hi

I have a vertical monitor and want the game be at the bottom of display and the marquee on the top of the display. 

Just classic marquee images displayed for the loaded game.

I have marquee set to display1 but nothing is happening.

Were do i start? How does it work?

Any noob guide Out there so i can understand the fundementals of geting marquees on same display working?

Are you talking about during actual game play?

Dont think you can use just one monitor for this. Marquee support is designed for a second monitor experience. Having a game playing in the bottom half of the screen while displaying a image at the top is actually pretty tricky, and not something that we support.

For that though what @neil9000 has advised is unfortunately what the situation is. This is not something LB can do during game play. It can only show the marquee on a second screen.

Ok. to bad.. but thanks anyways. then i can let bigbox go and ill check other solution.

hm.. maybe i can have bigbox/vertigo as frontend and use mame overlay from verticalarcade.com.

You should be using the emulator for overlays anyway, Launchbox itself doesnt support them at all.
