Problems with PCSX2

Hi

 

Sorry to be a pain but struggling

 

some games will run ok on PCSX 2 but some crash and give this error message

its stand alone version with bios

Any help would be appreciated

Do you use the same settings for all PCSX2 games or are you using something like the PCSX2 Configurator plugin for PCSX2 games?

just installed so same settings , not got vast amount of games

Having the wrong BIOS could also be an issue. Try the exact BIOS used by ETA PRIME on his YouTube channel.

And definitely check out UrCasualGamer, he makes everything extremely easy to follow and speaks to the beginning novice and doesn't just assume the user knows what to do.

YouTuber Mr. Sujano also has some good content.

Think i have found problem , will the emu only work with .iso ?

Sorry one last thing , how do i ensure pcsx 2 shuts down ?

 

when i press escape to leave game its still running in background ! Do i need  command line parameter ?

This exit script works for me.

In Tools > Manage > Emulators > PCSX2 > Running Script, copy / paste the following AutoHotKey script:

$Esc::
{
WinClose, ahk_class wxWindowNR
WinWaitClose
Sleep 500
WinClose, ahk_exe {{{StartupEXE}}}
}
