Turnster
Hi, I have an EMU account but when I tried to scrape a few hundred Switch games it only found the art for about 10% of them? Any ideas? Thanks Neil
neil9000
Probably bad naming or a lack of metadata/artwork for what is actually a still in production system and not at all retro. How are your roms named?
Turnster
Hey, Some are .xci and some are .nsp
Turnster
I think it's the .nsp games that are not showing up???? they play fine though.
JoeViking245
If you edit one of those games, does it have a corresponding LaunchBox DB ID #?
Retro808
32 minutes ago, Turnster said: Hey, Some are .xci and some are .nsp Neil was asking more that actual file name not file type. Some rom dumps have really poor named files that can screw up scraping.
Turnster
Hey, I think the problem is the file extension!! all the .xci files have scraped fine but the .nsp files, none of them have scraped.??
Turnster
And yes, some of the games are not named correctly but, I just renamed one correctly and it still doesn't scrape. I'll just keep fiddling 🙂

File type should have zero effect on scraping. Can you give a example of a file name that did not scrape?

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Details - LaunchBox Games Database (launchbox-app.com) Chicken Range is only in out database for Vita. Search Results for chicken range - LaunchBox Games Database (launchbox-app.com) Danger mouse isnt in our database. Same with Devious Dungeons, we have Vita and Windows only in our database. So like i said in my original reply, it looks like a mix of bad naming, and games not in our database.
