EASTWOOD2002 Posted May 23 Author Posted May 23 Tackling the backs now. Here's BALL, MANHOLE and PARACHUTE (I'll not post every one I do here....don't want to bore people with all the backs). Quote
EASTWOOD2002 Posted May 26 Author Posted May 26 Pretty much there on the (tall) MULTI SCREEN box backs (Pinball back example below). Slow progress as all the letters in the text need spacing differently. Quote
EASTWOOD2002 Posted May 27 Author Posted May 27 Still working through the box backs. Mario's Cement Factory and Manhole (both the New Wide Screen series). The little cartoons are tough...took hours to re-cut them. 1 Quote
EASTWOOD2002 Posted Sunday at 12:59 PM Author Posted Sunday at 12:59 PM I happened to be updating my MAME set when I noticed ClrMAMEPro update an svg file... I couldn't believe it...the LCD files are in the MAME game files! When I did my PowerPoint recreation in 2021/2022 I checked the MAME Artwork files and couldn't find the LCDs - and I never thought they'd be in the game files (I thought they were dumps only). So to date I've been running MAME, changing the video options to screen only, doing a screen capture, modifying the screen shot then vectorising it. Whilst a tough call, I decided I needed to go back through my 2026 Photoshop recreations over the last 6 weeks and re-do the LCDs again using the proper MAME svg's. It is very annoying TBH - I had already completed the 60 fronts and 40 backs. On the plus side, I noticed on the Wide Screen series that a few of the game box fronts have parts of the LCD backgrounds in front of the LCD...so I've just completed working through that. So the Silver Series, Gold Series and Wide Screen Series fronts are now re-done (again). Need to re-do the Wide Screen series backs, the Multi Screen Series (that'll be tough) and the rest before I'm back to where I was last....definitely put me back a week or more. Anyway, a quick example of Octopus unit re-done below (that took me a whole day!): Quote
