Once I exit the game manually it will then show the pause screen open. Thanks for your testing and patience. After mulling over the code and trying this, that and the other thing, I've come to the conclusion that it's not worth my time and effort to get it to work. With the advent of "smarter game startup and shutdown screen handling" introduced in LaunchBox v14.0, this plugin is no longer reasonably maintainable (usable?). Another issue with using this plugin is that game "Play Time" is not properly kept. This was just recently brought to my attention and [in retrospect] has been the case since this plugin was 1st introduced in December 2023. This leaves you with 3 options: 1) Revert to using LB v13.27. 2) Use an alternate means of applying bezels to emulators that don't natively support them. 3) Don't use bezels. #1 is not an acceptable solution as you miss out on all the goodness LaunchBox has to offer with subsequent releases. One possible means for #2 is to use ReShade. Later I will provide instructions for setting up ReShade that doesn't require it to be "installed" onto your system. A sort of "portable" install, as it were. Quote

I was talking with @dragon57 who was wishing me condolences on my plugin and got inspired to give it one-more-go. Truth be told, against my better wishes I asked AI how to fix this. It gave me a few suggestions, which I did try, and they seemed to have gotten it closer to consistently working again. However, as is my obstinate way, I deleted all the AI code and went back to coding old-school. I still have some minor refactoring and behind-the-scenes cleanup to do but believe I have a viable resurrection. If you (or anyone reading this) could give this a test, it would be greatly appreciated. BTW, you mentioned you don't use startup screens, but really, the overall experience is much better with them enabled. Not just with using this plugin, but with LaunchBox in general. But this 'resurrection' should work either way. Thank you for your time and consideration. BezelLauncher (v2.2.2-beta-4).zip 1 1 Quote
