superdavit
Downloaded the latest version of LB and, just to be safe, the latest version of RetroArch. I checked my username / pass and made sure those were fine in Retroarch. I got a new API Key from RetroAchievements and put that into LB, but still, I keep getting the: "Error loging in: Invalid user / token combination." Not sure what else to do. Any help would be amazing!! Thanks.
C-Beats
Sounds like this is a message you're seeing inside of RetroArch. Last I knew with some of the changes on RetroAchievements you need to actually update credentials on RetroAchievements (change your password) and then use the new password inside of RetroArch settings.
superdavit
I tried that, but just to be safe, I went to RetroAchievements and changed my password. Then, I went into Retroarch and changed my password to match. Then I went back to RetroAchievements and changed my API Key and made sure ALL of that was reflected in Launchbox. Inside LB, I can click the button at the top of the screen which pulls up my Retro Achievements score......... but then whenever I play a game, it says the same thing: "Error loging in: Invalid user / token combination." Thoughts? Also, thanks for your help!!! You're the best.
superdavit
Okay, finally figured it out with some help on the web. I went into RetroArch and reset the configuation. Then I found the retroarch.cfg file and - despite the password being inputted in Retroarch - the: cheevos_password was empty. I put the password there and it worked. F-ing finally. Thanks again for helping me out. I appreciate you.
drewjbx
I have another issue with achievements not showing up in LB for PSP. The PSP roms are in CSO format, when started with PPSSPP an achievement badge does pop up on start so I know it is working. I scanned the PSP for achievements multiple times but nothing. What am I doing wrong?
superdavit
I know it's obvious, but for some reason, some of the game systems won't automatically have a checkmark next to "show achievements," even if you have that setup. I'd recommend making sure that's checkmarked. Then rescanning.
drewjbx
yes... I did confirm that badge images are displayed, here is a game that shows achievements in ppsspp but not in launchbox game details. I'm at a loss here...
superdavit
I know this is obvious, but maybe try rescanning for PSP games. From the top-menu, go to achievements, then scan, then it'll allow you to do only the games of the highlighted system. If they're still not showing up, the only other thing I could think of would be to delete the PSP on the left side, but making sure you KEEP the files. Then re-importing them. Hope that helps. superdavit
Hey, so I've got a possible solution because I experienced something similar. My PC died so I'm having to add all my games back into Launchbox from a previous backup. My Playstation 1 games (which I'd yet to actually play) appeared, but there were only a few with achievement tropy-icons. One of the games i KNEW had achievements, but there was no achievemnet icon. So I checked the file it was using to launch. That file was a .7z zip file and although the game was listed, it wasn't playable. Soooooooo, I changed it from the .7z file to the .cue file. Once I did that, the game not only became playable, but the achievement badge icon immediately appeared!!!! So, I'm wondering, have you actually tried playing the games? Or, perhaps (and I'm just making these up) instead of loading the .bin, maybe direct the rom to the .cue. I hope that helps!!!
