Welz82 Posted Thursday at 08:38 PM Posted Thursday at 08:38 PM (edited) Just wanted to make others aware, I got stuck on the installation here (for ages!) but it does eventually get through it. My "Welcome to LaunchBox" window then failed to load, but after closing LB and starting it back up it was fine. Edited Thursday at 08:42 PM by Welz82 Quote
hawkfanz Posted Thursday at 11:17 PM Posted Thursday at 11:17 PM After installing, my emulators (except for Windows games) aren't showing in Launchbox. Also seems like BigBox was reset to what it would be on initial install. I dragged over my backed up settings and BigBoxSetting.xml files but that doesn't seem to have done anything. Quote

Did you double check to make sure installer installed to same directory (i.e. not one deeper)? Also might try using the Tools, File Management, Restore Backup vs drag/drop to make sure things go where needed. Quote

For some reason the LaunchBox shortcut got directed to a LaunchBox that is in the LaunchBox/Core location instead of my usual LaunchBox folder location. I'll look more later but not sure why that got changed. Quote

d66dle Posted yesterday at 06:41 PM Posted yesterday at 06:41 PM Regarding the Star Rating, what is now the exact cutoff between rating numbers? I have some auto playlists and custom badges that I'd like to update with the correct number values so the grouping is accurate, so for example: would Between 4 AND 4.99 be right for a 4 star playlist after the 13.21 update? I'll let it do it's thing for a while but so far it is stuck at the exact spot. If it helps I'm running launchbox on its own nvme ssd (samsung 990) and it isn't in the root directory. It's an all amd system (7800x3d, 7900xtx, 96gb amd expo ddr5, and all the auto overclocking/boosting features turned on) Update: changed a diaper, fed a baby, and ate a sandwich. it's still stuck. Never mind, went to close the window and there was a popup that opened in the background. I'm not using any window pinning. Edited yesterday at 07:51 PM by CaptainGreenhat Quote
Ravenloft Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Since upgrading to this version BigBox Freezes completely every couple of hours (it used to be one every two to three days) requiring killing of the task, and a relaunch or a complete reboot. I did not previously have Debug enabled in LaunchBox but do now, will upload log upon next crash interval. Quote
