  1. I think that just by adding the reader as an emulator to open pdfs, Launchbox still lacks an option for you to simply select an external reader of your choice for pdfs, crb and cbz, something that Sumatra does very well, in fact saving where you left off and directing you to the screen of your choice. There should also be at least other fields for PDF: guides, manuals, maps and tips.
  2. It's very simple, requires a bit of work and ends up not being very functional due to the aforementioned factor that it only works with its own internal PDF reader, which in this case does not save the location where you close the file, very important for long Guides. But the file is actually in PDF format, go to Edit the specific game and add the PDF just as an Extra program, just entering a specific name for it, for example, Prima Guide. In Desktop mode it should already appear in the game options menu to be viewed and in BIGBOX mode it will be available in the Pause Menu. There are alternative and much better methods, but much more laborious, where you use another reader like Sumatra, for example, to open pdfs or crbs as if it were an emulator, and you can even let it open that pdf before the game is launched and on an extra monitor/TV.
  3. They made a big step backwards by messing with RetroAchivements, in addition to causing the hassle of an executable that forces reading only if you click on a game in Launchbox, which triggers the download of the rom or iso in my case where I leave all the roms and isos on Onedrive, where the download is actually automatically done only when the game is run, now I had to block the executable, even when it is running, RetroAchivements are no longer displayed in Launchbox, they always give an error, I can only view them within the Retroarch. Unfortunately this caused a major setback in the software.
  4. It only uses my default reader in Launchbox by opening the manual externally, in game or in BigBox it seems to always use its Chromium internally, no matter what my default reader is.
  5. I'm using the latest version of Launchbox, and it seems to me that it uses a browser to open the pdfs in Bigbox, I have Adobe DC installed. I'll try when I get home to set this configuration. Thank you very much!
  6. How do I get the PDF reader to record where I left off?
  7. Nice Theme, I would like to know how to add strategy guides and commands to the menu, as shown in the images.
  8. It should have the option to view walkthroughs on the pause screen, so that you can return to the pdf from the point where you left off. I even put them in place of the manual because they are 1000 times more useful, but they always resume from the beginning of the pdf.
  9. No, it is an old bug that is necessarily in a modification in Dosbox X for the assembly of the game folders, here is a brief explanation of the problem, which in the case affects the operation of this Build in the Launchbox. https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/issues/770
  10. There is still the bug of single and double quotation marks in the executable call ... No need to have extra options, just wanted it to work.
  11. Is there any chance of supporting DOSBOX-X in the future?
