I am not sure what ten folders you are talking about, but here are the instructions for installing the theme:

How to Install:

Extract Retro Console Theme.zip to your launchbox themes folder. This includes all the platform and device logos you need and will automatically use them. ( In order to use other logos just delete the ones in this theme folder)
You can also use the startup and pause themes to add more of a consistent flow.
Drop the startup video (if you want it) in the launchbox videos root folder.

Actually stumbled across this theme while watching videos about different Big Box setups on youtube. I looked for it here and after downloading. I managed to figure out where most of the files go. I am still fairly new to Launchbox and Big Box themes but thought I would give it a try.

I seem to have everything in the right places or I think but I have two sets of icons not showing up ..any ideas what i did wrong, or didn't do please?

Hello, this view is specific to platform device images. Make sure you have those made in the logo creator and in the right spot. If this is not helpful, let me know.

the video was made by @faeran and is probably still available, maybe it has been moved. It is an instructional video he made that shows how to make custom images in the theme creator. Not sure what the title was but you could ask him. He is very responsive and very knowledgeable.

How to make your own custom logos for this theme: Click Here (watch first and then return here and follow the instructions below)

Once you get an understanding and are setup to go you can follow these instructions to make matching logo sets from your own collections for this theme:

So once you open the logo creator file (that you got from here) in the community theme creator, you need to select the platform that you want to make logos for from the left panel at the top (3rd drop down)
and then you will notice a long string of dots toward the bottom of the screen from left to right and centered just above the box that offers 2 or 3 options such as 'Theme, Platform and Game'. Use the following for each sub type of logo you want to make:
1. Platform Logos: Use the first dot for these and select 'Theme' from the box below. (Put these in the 'images/Platforms/Custom Images 1' folder within this theme)
2. Game Logos: Make sure to select the correct platform from the menu(panel) on the left. Then use the second dot and choose 'Theme' from the box below the dots. (Put these in the 'images/Games/Custom Images 1' folder within this theme)
3. Custom Platform View (game logos): Use the same instructions above but select the 6th dot and choose 'Platform from the box below the dots. (Put these in the 'images/Games/Custom Images 3' folder within this theme)
4. Custom Banners: Use the same instructions above but select the 4th dot and choose'Platform from the box below the dots. (Put these in the 'images/Games/Custom Images 2' folder within this theme)
Now you will be able to make logos for your exact set of games using all of the assets that are in the ones I made so they will match. You now just have to select the Hamburger Icon form the menu at the top of the screen and then hover over 'Render Custom Images', now select 'All Games for Selected Platform' from the menu that pops out.
Once you have completed making your set you will need to go and get that whole folder of logos you just made and move them to the 'Retro Console' theme folder in the 'Custom Images 3' folder with the others. Remember, each platform logo set needs to be in a folder that exactly matches your Platform name as it appears in your LaunchBox setup.

It might be but I have never tried that. I think you would have to copy the views over and then make sure to copy all the assets from the media folder as well. Not sure if it would work but you can try.

I will look into it, I can only add features as they become available in the Theme Creator. Once @y2guru adds features I will update the files that I am still working on. I am only aware of a new filter in LB though and My theme only works in BB. If there is a new filter feature in BB than I will have to wait. Sorry!

Hello, I am so glad you like the theme.

1: I think this is due to some changes in the new big box release. I will have to go back and figure it out. Sorry for the trouble but I will try to fix it as soon as I can.

2: I have the same problem, it can be very frustrating. I think you just have to keep changing the view until it finally goes to the right one. For me sometimes it takes more than 15 tries. It might be due to how many views this theme has (I went a little overboard). I do not know how to fix this.

Hello and thank you for the comment. I am sorry but that request would take many hours to accomplish unfortunately. I do not have the time to do all that right now. Maybe down the road. I am working on a new theme and it is taking up all my spare time, it has what you are requesting though and will porbably be better over all. Uses all the new LB features and is much smoother. Again, sorry but maybe in a few months I can do something.

Yep it would be nice but it can not be done. The wall view needs its own place. Just incase, make sure to configure BigBox settings for "remember seperate view for each platform". It is in settings/options/views, just check the box. You probably already did this but thought I would mention it just incase. This will enable you to set the view you want for every platform and remeber it so you dont have to change ever again.

Make sure to follow my content so you will know when I release new specific views. I am working on a PSP view right now.

Yes, this theme will only work on 16:9, preferably 1920x1080. It was designed for that set up. I really dont have any idea what else could be causing it. No one else has reported that problem so it might be specific to your set up. That could be a helpful clue. The problem as i see it in your pics is the spacing between each game is much greater than designed. I have this theme on 4 setups in my house and they are all the same, no problems like yours. But I think I at one point had a similar issue and it was some windows setting hat was causing it.

Some questions:

What resolution is your tv/monitor set to? (example:1920x1080 etc)
Are you able to use 16:9 as apposed to 4:3?
Do any other views in my theme have problems like the nintendo wii and wiiu do?
Do you have any kind of zoom or other settings changed on your monitor/tv/pc that might be causing this?
Can you send me a pic of any other platform specific views so i can see how they are working?

Sorry to keep going back and forth but I honestly dont know what else to do. We will figure it out.

The Sega Saturn is next on my list to make a custom view for but it will be a while. We are moving and very busy right now. Those views take me a while because I have to come up with a design and then build it. The design part for systems with lots of curves, like the saturn are much harder, lol.

As for the PSP, I had no plans for it because I like the one that I made already but it sounds like it would be fun to make. Just give me some time and I will make it happen. Really glad you like the theme so much. I have never used Patreon so I have no current way of setting that up but dont worry about it, this ia all charity work anyway. No need to pay me, thank you very much for offering though.

that is very weird. it looks like a setting of some kind is off on your setup compared to others. but i have no idea what setting. what is the resolution you are using? It might not help but try re downloading the theme to make sure you are using the latest version and that all files are correct. The picture looks like the wheel settings are way off, but that should be the same on all systems.

What specific theme did you want to have?
