Not home now but some games have the same name and are completely different. Parent roms. Sometimes it will merge thinking it's a clone or not even import it. Also some don't even imported at all. I'll try and give a example later. As for importing I only uncheck prototype adult and a few others. Shouldn't block the specific games that were not imported. . Off topic but launchbox still imports gambling games like slots even though that is checked.

So just curious why does launchbox skip some roms when importing? Does it have to do with not being in the database?

Thanks. I'll check again but don't recall that name. I do have a back up on another drive and can compare the differences to search for the 2 xmls. Thank again. You might be correct. Was looking for Mario or sonic or Olympic lol. Sega never crossed my mind. -

game works outside LB. I have the complete set for teknoparrot and have all the games in Launchbox working except these two. Yes I setup both exe. The game works outside LB. When I import these two games it just opens teknoparrot. Not the game. There are other games that use 2 exe. Scarlet HOTD. I was able to get that working in LB. The video is good for newbies. I know how to import tp to lb. For some reason these two don't launch the game Just opens up teknoparrot. -
OK so I have all my Teknoparrot games working in Launchbox except for the two Mario and Sonic Olympic games. When I try to launch the games in LB it just opens teknoparrot. These are the only two giving me a problem. Any help would be great. Thanks

Press F2 to enter SERVICE mode and select 'CALIBRATE GUN' with the VOLUME DOWN key '-'. Hit F2 to calibrate and to finish process hit F2 again.

Sounds like you need to calibrate the game. It's flashing when you hit the button but it's not aiming where you are pointing.

Does the game open up? Does it work outside launchbox. I'm using windows 11 most recent updates and it works. Follow the directions above on how to configure your inputs. Then start the game and calibrate your gun/mouse like I mentioned above.

Dumb question but you know how to assign buttons right?

Press the tab button when game is running and assigned the start button to your Xbox controller.

So after you configure the controllers you are able to pop the balloon? If so should just take you to the next screen. If it's not registering the shots while in game hit the tab key. Then input this game. Then set you trigger buttons there.

Never-mind. I got it working. Must of been a conf file. It was the only one showing green screen but could hear the game in the background.

Thanks. You're part genius and part madman. I have another problem I'll pm you later. It's about Xenia and the Xenia manager. When I launch a game in Launchbox the screen is green. When I use it outside LB it works. I believe its only one game that does it. Ill get back to you on what game.

OK so that works but the issue is when I check those boxes my other associated platforms that use mame don't work now. Is there a way to just do this for the Beena system?

I don't use MAMEUI with Launchbox. I only use MAME. I just have the MAMEUI for reference purposes. My MAME rompath is fine. Been using this for over 20 years with no issues with roms/chds or software list. Do the games launch when starting them directly from the MAME UI? Yes and no. It works but if you want to play a different game you have to go in mame settings (TAB) and then select file manager and choose another game. Official MAME built in UI work only because when you choose the system next step is choose the game. Or a better option, have the root folder that all your software list subfolders are in, in mame.ini. yesmame.ini

Hey Joe So I tried these in the Launchbox command: beena :Doesn't even launch into the system. beena -cart :Launches the system but no games play beena -cart1 :Launches the system but no games play I know the obscure systems but hey since I have them why not get them to work.

OK I'm trying to get this to work in LB. For MAME the command line is: mame beena (rom name). When I add the command line in LB as beena -cart the system starts but no game appears. Any ideas? Thanks
