  1. Toying with it now, I can set it up for a theme bezel or a system bezel but I noticed the System Bezel isn't a singular system bezel and instead it downloads a different one for each game with that title setup for it. Is it possible to download a single bezel in Launchbox per system and have it use that 1 bezel for every game launched from that system? Don't need 100+ NES Bezels all showing the game title and all, just a box around the game to fill the sides. Quite literally would be happy with a bezel that is just Nintendo theme or an outline of a monitor.
  2. Question, does this break up the files into multiple parts to speed up the downloads? Found out the hard way that the stuff that just downloads normally wants to go slow while the ones that will break the files up into pieces goes much faster,
  3. Also, slight update. I couldn't find "Background Opacity" as an option, asked in the noobs sections to be told it wasn't an option that you must have meant "Background Fade", I set that to zero but still didn't seem to impact it for me, so edited the xml files to remove it and worked fine. Still the best BigBox theme for my viewing style. Like my menus on the left hand side with clear and readable text and prefer just to have the Box Art and the movie playing because no body I really know bothers to read the descriptions of the games.
  4. Yeah, finding out just how many games failed to download video snaps. Too many. Actually put a feature request on the tracker where the database also includes a search term for EmuMovies that will return the proper results for the videos. Surprising number of games have multiple alternate known titles but EmuMovies will only give snaps if your game has one of them specifically.
  5. The Audit gives me a lot of details about the games and the ability to look for duplicates, but doesn't allow me to sort by which has video snaps downloaded or which has clear logos and stuff like that that I have seen. Edit: Correction, I didn't see the scroll bar on the bottom of the screen, my mistake. Much bigger than I thought it would be. My apologizes
  6. Trying to figure out which titles are missing video snaps on them but will really suck having to manually check each title individually to see if they have it, trying to figure out a way to audit games for that. Especially in the future if I ever want to change my theme setup. Also because I have noticed that EmuMovies gets pretty picky on the game searches where you might have to change the title of a game to get the media to show up in the search. Much easier if I could just bring up a list of games that are missing that file and deal with them that way.
  7. Much appreciated. Changing the setting didn't do anything for it but editing that out of the xml file worked just fine. Thank you.
  8. I don't know where "Background Opacity" is as an option, I found "Background Fade" and I know BarTop is an old theme, did they change the name of the setting since it was last updated?
  9. I found on the page it says you can set that with the option Background Opacity in BigBox, now just have to find that option in the menus.
  10. Nice, theme, if you go for a rewrite, I would make a request in it if you don't mind. The option to remove the scanline filter on the videos. Can't find the option to do so and if I remove the scanline.png, it starts giving error messages. Edit: Nevermind, just found the option on this page, lol. Thank you either way, good theme.
  11. Found the file, tried to remove it but then it just started spitting out errors. Oh well, maybe if I replaced it with a blank file or something, will just make a comment on their theme. Thank you though.
  12. When it came to Sega CD, I changed the startup to PicoDrive due to there being Sega CD games that also require 32x. Also, I have them in CHD format, runs without issue so far.
  13. Got the BarTop theme installed and works pretty good, but it wants to put a scanline filter on the video snaps. How do I disable the filter?
  14. I just double checked, it was a already imported on a different region. Thank you.
  15. Importing a few Saturn games, but 1 specific game Launchbox refuses to import. Doesn't matter if I set it up to scan or manually import it. It just refuses to even attempt to add it and says zero were imported. Any idea how to deal with this?
  16. For future users, I found a workaround. Since the emulator wants to add the drive letter to the front of whatever you put in the M3U file, just put the full path of the rvz file minus the drive letter in each entry and it works. For example. Baten Kaitos Origins is in the location: "F:\LaunchBox\Games\Nintendo GameCube\B\Baten Kaitos Origins (USA)" Even though the rvz files are in the same folder as the m3u, you put the entry down as: \LaunchBox\Games\Nintendo GameCube\B\Baten Kaitos Origins (USA)\Baten Kaitos Origins (USA) (Disc 1).rvz \LaunchBox\Games\Nintendo GameCube\B\Baten Kaitos Origins (USA)\Baten Kaitos Origins (USA) (Disc 2).rvz That way it adds the F: at the front anyways and the emulator loads it, and allows you to move it to any drive you want and it will boot so long as you put the Launchbox folder a top directory on that drive.
  17. It appears another has reported this as an issue on Dolphins on site. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-m3u-support-issue Guess it is a bug on their part maybe.
  18. I am setting up for Relative Directories to run off of an external USB drive. Any way I can setup a relative directory to the games folder?
  19. About everything else seems to work just fine but Dolphin games when it comes to M3U files just doesn't seem to work right when I launch it from Launchbox. If I load the M3U file directly from Dolphin it boots without an issue, but if I try and launch it from within Launchbox, it gives an error saying the files in the M3U aren't found and in the error shows the names except it has added the drive letter in front of the name where "Baten Kaitos Origins (USA) (Disc 1).rvz" is listed as "F:Baten Kaitos Origins (USA) (Disc 1).rvz" But only seems to do it when launching from within Launchbox.
  20. With the official release, I have noticed when downloading covers of multiple games, occasionally Launchbox will skip the covers from you guys and go straight to EmuMovies for it instead, noticed with Dreamcast games because each places covers look different.
  21. Yeah, the media download is really messed up right now. Got 682 NES roms. When I hit update telling it to only download a single box front and only from Launchbox while skipping emumovies for anything. It downloaded 699 covers and even skipped a few games. But all the game images started with the 02 suffix at the end and went up from there. Some images had 2 or more pictures with increasing numbers some had images with the same number with 1 in png format while the other jpg. Maybe the multithreads are both trying to pull art for the same game and so they each pulled a different image even if they weren't supposed to? No clue, but the art downloads are messed up at the moment. Edit: Also, it wants to detect the US NES Maniac Mansion as the Famicom version of it in the database but just have to reset it manually and it's good. Edit again: And it detects Earthbound Beginnings as Mother which would make sense except the database has an entry for Earthbound Beginnings. Edit yet again: Also, cleaning the directories doesn't remove the extra pictures either. Edit yet, yet again: If I download media on a single game at a time, it works right (But also downloads all of any type I choose) but the media does get the 01 suffix at the end. Tried the group downloader on 3 different systems, it didn't work correctly on any one of them. So yeah, the media scraper is messed up on the current beta. Will wait till the next release to retry downloading the images. As suggested on bitbucket, PLEASE change it where the media is named after the rom name without any suffix for the first media.
  22. Been messing with the beta release. Tried to get the front box art from Gameboy Advance games using EmuMovies as the source, it is set to only download a single image of the type and it appears to ignore that limitation when downloading from them. Keeps downloading 2 front box images from them instead. Off topic but... Definitely love the faster downloads though but whoever uploaded a lot of the Launchbox images for GBA seems to have just taken the EmuMovies version of them and slightly stretched them with sometimes a slight color tweak and reuploaded them. Things look a little off when you look at them with people seeming to be fatter but not majorly noticeable except when you see them all laid out in front of you and the boxes have different sizes for them to be really noticeable when you download copies from the other server and compare them against. The Launchbox version does have more versions for games that emumovies misses or at least their server does though.
  23. And thank you for that, for some reason, it detected all the mame roms and added them. But the directory was in Games\Mame\Roms\ while launchbox has them all in the mame directory itself..
  24. I full on deleted the mame install from Launchbox and the emulator and loaded it all from scratch. Will double check the paths though.
  25. When I try to launch any title from the front end, Mame just opens and closes real quick. But I can load the games straight from the emulator just fine. Updated the mame set and the emulator,
