The Shield TV has a built-in option to mount network storage as a usable drive. I would recommend trying this, as Android doesn't really have good networking code otherwise.
Check out ETA Prime's channel on YouTube; I'm guessing he'll address all that stuff if he hasn't already. I haven't done significant performance testing with the later platforms.
Ugh, I can't seem to find the original creator of the image, and the only thing I can find is that it's licensed for personal use only. So sadly, I don't think we can use it for the vid.
@Cauptain I'll get that in before the official release.
Per that dragon image background, where did you get that image? I just want to make sure that we're legally allowed to use it. Thanks!
Strange. I just tested Yakuza Kiwami and downloaded that trailer just fine. This whole Steam trailer download process has been confusing for ages; at this point I'm guessing Steam is limiting it somehow for some people or something like that. What do you have in the game's application path field for that game?
Videos will only download if a video doesn't already exist, and the game is actually launching a Steam game via a Steam URL. I just tested the latest beta with updating metadata and media and it seems to be pulling down videos just fine.
@internetfloozy No problem. Please email us at support@unbrokensoftware.com with the email you used for purchasing the license and we'll get a new license out to you.
I see; not sure how that happened, but I found it and I'll go ahead and remove it. You should be able to just safely ignore that record I think.
Awesome. Mind if we use that image for the YouTube thumbnail for the news video?
I'm confused here. I see LabelFolderOfGamesToImport in the left column and "Folder of Games to Import" in the right column, so all looks correct to me.
Love that graphic. Your creation?
Good to hear. Per #1, I'm guessing you're probably right. If you have any information on the changed parameters, that would help. Per #2, I don't think we've run into that issue. I'll put that on the list to test.
Woot. That's good to hear. Let me know if anyone here experiences any further issues with the importer. I may go ahead and release this version to production if I don't get any more reports of issues.
Thanks guys. I'm honestly not really sure what happened with the previous release, but all I can figure is that it was some kind of an issue with the deployment. I've uploaded a new version that hopefully works.
