  1. What # on the list are you referring to?
  2. Well this escalated quickly... We've had a discussion about this thread behind the scenes. @Vloshko I appreciate your thoughts here. I don't currently have any immediate plans to make changes, but I'll keep them in mind going forward.
  3. We probably won't go to that length to put a YouTube video in, but hopefully we can get it resolved.
  4. @Vloshko Thank you for that. I'll get that first post updated here soon. Need to review some things to make sure it's all still accurate.
  5. FYI guys, I've given this issue to our new developer @CBeatt13, so it's on his plate. He may not get to it right away though. We also may or may not be able to resolve it, depending on if the issue is with Steam or not (and if there's actually a solution).
  6. Can you take a picture of this for me? I know that issues like this somehow come down to video drivers, screen placement, and differing DPIs between the monitors. You may be able to resolve it by playing with those settings or upgrading your video drivers.
  7. Hi @lemoncadebay, where are you located in the world?
  8. @dov_EL I did some additional testing over the weekend, and my initial thoughts that it was related to Retroarch's controller settings were wrong, as I couldn't replicate the issue without the keyboard being involved. But all LaunchBox should be doing is sending volume up and volume down keyboard presses, so I'm still lost here. What do the K and F9/F10 keys have to do with it?
  9. The platforms will need to identify properly with known platform names. If you name them the same as they are listed on the games database website, that should be safe.
  10. Yeah, what have you named those platforms?
  11. Crickets.
  12. Here he is @neil9000. He's all yours.
  13. The first 10.7 beta is out now here:
  14. Hey all, the first 10.7 beta is out now with the following: New Feature: You can now reset a game's Play Count and Last Played date by selecting a game (or games) in LaunchBox and selecting the appropriate option from the right-click menu Improvement: Added a new SelectedGame property to the Big Box game details views for use by theme creators Improvement: CTRL-F in Launchbox now selects all text currently in the search bar when giving it focus to make multiple searches easier Improvement: Can now lock and unlock Big Box from a game entry if you have already created a lock pin. There is an option in Options -> Game Menu to hide this option. Improvement: Big Box game details will now show the game version, which was previously missing. You can turn this off under Options > Game Details. Fixed: Can now properly download Theme Videos for the "Dragon 32/64" platform Fixed: Corrected an issue with controllers in Big Box where binding Select and Play to the same button could potentially cause stability issues Fixed: Platforms could sometimes be duplicated in the "Scrape As" drop down box in the import wizard It's worth noting that most of the above changes have been done by our new developer Christian, who has only been on board for a few days now but has already been super productive. He'll be commenting in this topic here soon with a new forums account (probably tomorrow morning). I've been working hard on a new import process for the Android version (importing games directly on an Android device), which should be out shortly.
  15. I think we should be strict about not putting fake ESRB ratings in, regardless of the reason. What we should probably do is add a separate PEGI rating field to the database in order to track PEGI ratings (and perhaps more additional fields for other countries like Japan).
  16. Sadly the plugin we used to use for it stopped working a while ago, and I tried everything to get it working, all to no avail. So we removed Tapatalk support from the forums a long time ago, and we don't plan on adding it back in.
  17. Hmm, make sure you're using the correct version of Retroarch from the list I guess. We've tested launching Retroarch from LaunchBox on hundreds devices now, so I know it works for those platforms. If it works outside of LaunchBox but not when launching from LaunchBox, I can't think of any other potential issues currently other than maybe LaunchBox is launching a different version of Retroarch than the one you're testing with. It might help to remove all versions of Retroarch except for one.
  18. Okay, first off, make sure you've started up Retroarch outside of LaunchBox at least once beforehand, as it has to download a bunch of resources (or just use the "Open Retroarch" item from the emulator configuration in LaunchBox). Beyond that, make sure you've downloaded the relevant cores. Have you downloaded the necessary cores?
  19. Unfortunately not. It's a Retroarch glitch in that it doesn't obey the default settings.
  20. It might be an issue with the Windows file copy utility not working well copying the files over to your device. At that point I would try creating the export package, and then selecting the option to manually copy the files over to your device. Then you can copy the files over and verify that everything is copying correctly. Usually it's that file copy operation over to your device that has trouble if you're running into issues.
  21. Oic. Yeah, hmm. I always assumed that GA was the same as E, but I guess I never really thought about it. I think we should really be adding options for those old ESRB ratings to the site. I'll add that to my list.
  22. This sounds like an odd threading issue. I made a change recently to show No Game Selected while editing games in order to prevent images from being in use (which would cause issues if you attempted to delete them). I haven't been able to replicate this on my systems, but I'll see if there's anything I can do.
  23. FYI on this, I've caught up here and appreciate the solution by @setjo. I think that might clue me into the problem in the first place, so I have it on my list to investigate.
  24. Hi @strigoimare, I'm not fully following this. Is Stellar Fire.iso in your screenshot the only file that was exported?
  25. All the ESRB ratings should be official. I haven't been following the changes as of late, so I'm not really sure what's actually happening, but ESRB ratings should be actual ratings delivered by the ESRB.
