  1. Sorry to hear. Sadly it sounds like something is corrupted with the .NET install, but I can't say for sure. It also could be caused by a background app. So the first thing I would try is closing down everything that's running in the background.
  2. Yes, it's all coming soon. We're developing the Android app as quickly as we can currently.
  3. @willkills We will be adding support for different emulators and cores per game here soon.
  4. I'll see if I can add a forced timeout to those downloads so that at least it doesn't hold up the entire process in that case. But I'm fairly certain that there's some kind of Internet connection issue that is causing those downloads to fail. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you in the mean time, other than to maybe try a different Internet connection.
  5. Strange. I've tested with my Shield TV a million times, so I'm at a loss on that one. It has to be the Internet connection then I would figure. Does it actually crash or does it just sit there on that screen? Does it ever time out?
  6. What device are you using? It's possible that you have some ROMs that are corrupted or not working properly (or didn't transfer properly to your device). That would be my guess, from what you're describing.
  7. It should pick up the other folder once you have actual data in it. It needs to find at least one platform before it will pick up the secondary folder.
  8. @dirtybeagles Most likely this is the cause of an unstable Internet connection. I think it will time out in that case eventually.
  9. For performance reasons, the Android version doesn't automatically pick up new image files that you drop into the folders. I'll be adding game edit options very soon, but unfortunately that's not available just yet.
  10. It's downloading metadata from the LaunchBox Games Database in that step, and then extracting it. It could be that you just need to wait a bit longer, or if your connection isn't very stable, you might need to just start the process over.
  11. The export to Android is available in the free version of LaunchBox, so you don't need a license for it at all. If you're running an outdated version of LaunchBox because you don't want to renew your license, you may have to just use a separate LaunchBox installation.
  12. @redlee You may have to extract your RARed ISO files before importing them. LaunchBox for Android doesn't currently support extracting RAR files. I'm not sure if PPSSPP does, but that could be the issue.
  13. Just for clarification, unfortunately the Yaba Sanshiro dev(s) keep changing the startup parameters on everyone without telling anyone what they are. So we currently don't have any idea what the new parameters are in order to launch it correctly. If anyone has an information on how to do it, please let us know. Otherwise, we may have to remove the emulator from the app due to a lack of transparency from the devs.
  14. Thank you @maxload. External hard drives do work just fine, but you may have to manually move stuff around as the importer doesn't currently ask. If you close the app and move the /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox/files/LaunchBox folder to the same location on your external drive (make sure you remove the one on your internal), LaunchBox should pick it up and use it from that location instead.
  15. Yeah, sadly stuff like this has been a major issue for us on Android. IMHO, the Android devs have done a pretty terrible job designing the file launching system, because it's not transparent at all, and every emulator seems to handle it differently. On Windows there's rarely ever any question how to launch a particular ROM, but on Android it's a very different situation. Thanks for reaching out. We may have to just remove the emulator from the list if we can't get any good information.
  16. LaunchBox for Android is a forever license, just like all other apps in the Play Store.
  17. Hi Mark, the desktop exporter for MAME is configured to always export full MAME collections. Because of MAME's file formats, it doesn't work to pick and choose ROM files (except in certain situations). The importer built-in to the Android app though will allow you to import a small set of MAME games, but it will only work to launch the games if you've created the subset correctly, which isn't easy to do.
  18. Hi @rheider, I have ColEm on my list to add, so I'm planning to get to it here soon.
  19. Just released version 0.29 to the Play Store. Details are here:
  20. Hey all, I just uploaded version 0.29 of LaunchBox for Android to the Play Store with the following: You can now play combined/additional game versions by long-pressing a game from the list and selecting "Additional Versions..." A new region prioritization option is available on imports, used when combining games More granular options for MAME imports are now available (such as what types of games to skip) The option to combine games with matching titles on imports is now more accurate I went ahead and released this straight to production, since I'm confident in these changes. There's a whole new page of options for MAME imports, so they should be up to par with the desktop now. I also improved the ROM combining feature significantly, so if you've previously imported with combined ROMs, you may want to re-import. Google should be making this new version live very shortly.
  21. Alright, per network storage on the nVidia Shield, I don't have good news. I'm not sure if that will actually work to host ROM files. Unfortunately, when nVidia implemented it, they did it in a proprietary manner that does not appear to let applications use it via the proper Android storage APIs. I haven't found details on how to access it properly in LaunchBox, and I haven't found any emulators that seem to be working to load up ROMs from it either, so I'm guessing if the emulators can't see the network paths, then it won't matter if LaunchBox can import them, because you won't be able to launch them. If anyone has any more details on this from a programming perspective, do let me know. But what I've seen so far suggests that it's not likely possible, sadly.
  22. Thank you cuco; this is not currently supported. I'll note your suggestion though. Thanks, currently looking into this. Currently there's no way to manually do that stuff only on Android, but those features are definitely coming soon. What are you referring to by mgba ap?
  23. You should be able to use sideloaded versions of Yaba Sanshiro, yes. So if you can manage to load up the old version, it should work fine. I'm not sure what to do about Yaba Sanshiro currently, as I can't find any details online about how to properly launch the new version. If anyone has any details on what changed as far as launching games with the new version, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm unfortunately up a creek without a paddle. Have you guys tried both the free and pro versions?

You can delete a platform by long-pressing on the platform and then selecting Delete. It will then ask you whether you want to delete the images folder and/or the games folder.
