  1. Hi @Bardock; looking to fix those strings. As far as the image types, we've not been translating those because they're associated with non-translated folders in the file system, and the games database (which I know isn't ideal but that's where we're at currently). Per Tools > Edit Default DOSBox Configuration, what are you seeing that's untranslated? Both the menu item and the dialog that comes up seem to be properly translated for me. Same for Tools > Options > Images. Are these issues fixed for you in beta 2?
  2. Thank you Maddoc. Did you test with a controller? The issues seem to be specific to game controllers.
  3. Also, one thing that would be helpful @Zombeaver is if you could test with a previous version of LaunchBox to see if it was caused by a recent change (that would rule out the emulator). Message me if you need an old version to download. It would probably be best to test with 7.4.
  4. Hi @DjMcFilthy, we have heard this from a few people recently, and we're looking into it. @DOS76 can you help with this? @Zombeaver has also stated that he's had this problem with both Demul and CCS64. I'm unclear whether this issue was caused by changes in the emulators, or changes in the latest versions of LaunchBox/Big Box. It apparently is working fine for @DOS76, however, so we need to discuss and see if we can get to the root of the issue. Thanks all!
  5. Sorry for the forums issues guys; I am in the process of moving the forums over to the new server (it's the last piece to move). I think I might be causing some temporary issues. Also, we might have to put the forums in read-only mode for a few hours once we're ready to do the actual move (I'm thinking tomorrow morning might be a good time to do this).
  6. Hi @dannyg86, no problem on not getting back to me; sorry to hear you're still going through health issues. These issues are all on my list, but unfortunately they're not very high priority. I have been working on primarily bug fixes, performance improvements, etc. for the last couple of weeks already. Per #1, having just a few games in a platform isn't really that common, and we haven't gotten many complaints on it, so I haven't focused on it. I agree that it's not ideal though. Per #2, I did significantly improve this recently; not sure if you're on the latest beta, but it should be much better with loading the images efficiently. I am curious to know if the latest beta improves things for you. #3 I have not been able to reproduce, but I sure would love to figure it out and get it fixed. Any details on this would appreciated. #4 is mostly the fault of the EmuMovies API, so there's only so much I can do. It is helpful to report specific issues to them (specific things not found) so they can go through and fix it in their database. Thanks Danny.
  7. Wow, that looks really awesome @keltoigael!
  8. Oic! Lol. Yes, I just upgraded the forums yesterday. Didn't even realize that was a new feature.
  9. I'm so lost here @neil9000...lol. What are you referring to?
  10. Thanks @Bardock. I just went through all the forms and did my best to fix all the sizing as needed. So I'd say it's ready for the official 7.6 release. The changes are out in the beta release I just put out.
  11. Gotcha. I'll probably have to look specifically at CCS64 to fix it. Thanks @Zombeaver.
  12. Yes, regardless, several users have reported that Steam is the cause for Big Box receiving controller input while games are running, and that exiting Steam fixed it. Are you using Rocket Launcher?
  13. I keep hearing about similar things. But then I keep hearing that it's Steam's fault. Do you have Steam running? Check to make 100% sure Steam is closed all the way and let me know if you're still seeing this stuff, @Zombeaver. Steam is gonna be the death of us if they can't get this issue fixed.
  14. LaunchBox shouldn't be hiding the taskbar at all, but Big Box should be if the setting is enabled.
  15. Alright guys, new beta is out. Here's the new stuff in the change log: - Improvement: Updated the list of Patreon producers in the About form! Thank you so very much to all contributors. - Improvement: Added ActiveGame and ActivePlatform properties for use in Big Box custom themes that behave the same as SelectedGame and SelectedPlatform, but are delayed until an item is fully selected - Improvement: Improved the performance of scrolling platform notes in Big Box - Improvement: A new %gameid% variable can be used when launching emulators to help with game identification - Improvement: New Dutch translation is available thanks to Bardock on the forums @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT I did find and fix a possible null reference bug with the music prioritization, so again, if we're lucky, it might just fix your issue. Let me know how this one fares.
  16. Hi @Britxcdn, this just means that a DirectX library is missing. Just re-run the LaunchBox setup program on that machine and that should fix it. You can just install it to a different folder temporarily (or directly on top of your current folder should work fine too).
  17. Hi @jonnypromise, I'm not sure if I took care of you via email already. We were having some email issues for the past couple of hours that I've just resolved. So sorry for the trouble. Let me know if you still need the download or the license and I'll get it to you straight away. You can email me at jason@unbrokensoftware.com.
  18. Sorry for the trouble here @jasonsmith. I just fixed an email issue that apparently we've been having for the past hour or two. You should be good to retry now and everything should work properly; let me know if not.
  19. @Porl Hendy Yes, those features are fairly well down the list. Most of the items on the list came from the most-voted tickets on Bitbucket, so for the most part, they should be the most popular requests.
  20. Hi @davyfreeman, that actually sounds like nearly the same thing as what we envision for playlists. A tags-style approach does sound like a good approach.
  21. Gotcha, okay. Well, hopefully someone else will chime in and can help clarify.
  22. Hmm, okay. Are you using Rocket Launcher? Did it happen after upgrading to a particular version or did it just randomly start happening?
  23. For those that haven't seen it yet...we are opening up voting on upcoming features here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/launchboxfeatures I'd appreciate everyone's vote!
  24. LaunchBox itself should never be hiding the taskbar currently. That's a bit scary though if the latest Windows preview version is messing with that stuff though...hmm.
