  1. +1 @SentaiBrad would love if videos would work for what ever the default player is as i dont use any codec packs as Potplayer comes with its own codecs and plays everything flawlessly for me.
  2. Wow thats a lot of vram for a ps1 game as my computer isnt as modern or as much of a power horse small things tend to make a difference. I agree 64 bit is way better and hopefully some day in the not too distant future most of the emulators will be 64bit as i tend to use individual emulators per platform rather than one with cores for the different platforms.
  3. They need windows media player as when i had it turned under off under turn windows media features on/off the videos wouldnt work until i turned it back on as i have Potplayer as my default media player.
  4. Thank you for further explaining @SentaiBrad Thats why i like the 4gb patch above as it creates a backup of the exe in the same folder as the original exe incase things go funny. Ive used it on PCSX2 and find an improvement as well as a few other emulators that are 32bit.
  5. I came across these and find them useful maybe some of ye here can find them useful too. The first one is a 4gb patch for patching exe's that are 32bit as you know 32bit applications only use 2gb memory while 64bit use all your memory this patch when used with any 32bit application or game use the 4gb memory read post in link for a better description http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php The second one is a patch manifest for epsxe that makes it DPI aware read post http://ngemu.com/threads/dpi-awerenes-of-epsxe.175185/ click on link in 2nd post espxe.exe.manifest it will download, then you paste it in epsxe emulator folder.
  6. Its possible that when installing the K-lite codec pack that especially if it is the full pack or mega that he had set Windows Media Player Classic that comes with K-Lite as the default media player and didnt associate the installed codecs with Windows Media Player which would account for the videos not playing until the codecs were associated with Windows Media Player.
  7. When installing new software i would advise people to use Unchecky it is brilliant software with a very small footprint and works extremly well i have been using it now for a very long time it stops adware and toolbars from being downloaded onto computer even hidden toolbars that comes wrapped up in some software see link and check it out http://unchecky.com/ it does do what it states and i think all computers should have it installed well that's my twopence anyway lol.
  8. More Logo's 60 Percent Opaque If there's any other systems people want let me know
  9. Hellohi said I'm getting a Graphic Error popup when I close out of a game in Project64 now and I can't close it with a controller. "Switching resolutions failed to initalize Direct3D Error code: 8876086C D3DERR_INVALIDCALL" For the error you were having it usually means that something is not upto date, make sure windows, drivers, directx runtime, c/c++ runtime, .net runtime are all up to date. IE these plus your graphics drivers
  10. @Hellohi Alt+F4 ends emulation on project64 2.2 if you are using the Escape key it will not shut down the emulator only the game. Also make sure you have nothing set in the command line in Launchbox for emulator for project64.
  11. I think it was an old folk singer he'd say that then he'd start singing the song No Nay Never, No Nay Never No More lol
  12. Reading the email made me remember an old saying i heard when i was young 'I Nay Say Nay said the Nay Sayer, who said Nay all his life'.
  13. You should try project 64 2.2 it works extremly well, just download a little program called UnChecky first it will stop it from dowmloading or installing any toolbars etc when you install it.
  14. I totally agree with SentiaBrads sentiments it is sad that individuals like that think they have absolute right to put demands on a person. i for one never minded the fact of supplying an email address, its required on social networks and lots of emulation sites, try using Facebook without one see how you get on? @Jason dont let it dwell inside too much it is really not worrying over people like that are never happy and always have a gripe with something. We all her appreciate what lengths that you go to both with LaunchBox/BigBox as well as here on the forum always answering. And also the people on here are always willing to help as well. So just chalk it up as one for the spam box and know that we appreciate what you do and that also includes you giving out your email without a quibble when we need help which i might add the individual didnt care to mention.
