Excellent work for 7.0! I have a little suggestion for next beta. Use bold text for changes

Any chance to put a speed limiter on the updater? I only have 6Mbps and when I need to update LB, my network "collapse" because its consume all the bandwidth

I imagine the marquee on the monitor and playing with the WiiU Gamepad

I love the new features for BigBox but LB looks like the forgotten brother D:

Jason Carr said Unfortunately, no, @wallmachine. I will get back to performance here soon to see if there's anything I can do. Maybe separate/split some code into modules or plugins and then disable it if the user doesn't use it.
-
I like it Maybe buttons overlay could change with BigBox theme or just change style between platforms
-
I like clear logos but where you put them? Launchbox have more than 1 filter. If you want clear logos than simple text, you also need "clear logo" for... Date Added/Modified Developers Genre Region Series ....

Jason Carr said That view looks really awesome @Lmagnus87. It will probably be a while before we start adding more visual features to LaunchBox itself again, but that'll be a great path to take when we get there. If someone can add that as a ticket to Bitbucket that'd be great. Thanks Jason, I always post on both (Bitbucket and LB Forum) Lmagnus87 said [BB Ticket]New Kind of View for Launchbox or maybe BigBox

Drybonz said Hm... I'm not sure I see the real advantage to this. Everything new for Launchbox is an excellent news

I know that the loading process will be longer if xml is split up but less messy. Maybe only 2, platforms and LB/BB settings I just "fixed" my xml copied and pasted a default LB/BB settings

I also have a problem with my launchbox.xml and I got this error message System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'xinput1_3.dll': No se puede encontrar el módulo especificado. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) at SharpDX.XInput.XInput.XInputGetState_(Int32 arg0, Void* arg1) at SharpDX.XInput.XInput.XInputGetState(Int32 dwUserIndex, State& stateRef) at () at LaunchBox.GameControllerHandler.GetCurrentDevices() at (String , String ) at LaunchBox.GameControllerHandler.InitializeDevice(String id, String name) at (Boolean , Boolean , String , String ) at LaunchBox.GameControllerHandler.Initialize(Boolean enableGamepad, Boolean useAllControllers, String gamepadId, String gamepadName) at (MainForm ) at LaunchBox.Forms.MainForm.InitializeController() at (MainForm ) at LaunchBox.Forms.MainForm.LoadSettings() at (MainForm , Object , EventArgs ) at LaunchBox.Forms.MainForm.MainForm_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnLoad(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.OnCreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl(Boolean fIgnoreVisible) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.CreateControl() at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Form.WmShowWindow(Message& m) at (CustomFormBase , Message& ) at LaunchBox.Forms.CustomFormBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) So I delete the file Here is my .xml Maybe Its time for reorganize the way that save all plataform meta data For example 1 .xml for each platform SuperNintendo.xml Amiga500.xml A7800.xml MSDOS.xml Vectrex.xml Windows.xml ... .. . and then Launchbox.xml with the address of those platform files

Lmagnus87 said Load -> Select a Folder and fill all the fields with .xaml files values Save As -> Generate a New folder with .xaml files Save -> Saves all values to .xaml files from Selected Folder Jason Carr said @Lmagnus87, I assume you built that screenshot in Photoshop or similar? There are a number of visual XAML editing tools available, but I will be doing some research here soon to try and find the best one and come up with a recommended solution. :) Yes, Its just a sketch , an example to show how it could be. Only an application to read and modify values of a .xaml file with a simple and friendly UI
