    Arcade Flyers

Does anyone have a set or ftp with Arcade flyers? The Arcade artwork is a mess and LB doesn't pull 90% of anything let alone correct. No 3D stuff just clean 2D flat images. Looking for the following:
  2. Don't want priorities but freely able to sort the plat list as I want.
  3. Right now I have stuff like Arcade - Capcom and Arcade - Sega Naomi and RL doesn't work with the names like "Arcade - Sega Naomi". It's a unrecognized system in the demul AHK file.
  4. That makes more sense I think with subs. I can see those if we had subs we would need clear logos for the subs and maybe scraping of those subs and videos maybe? I think we all would have to agree on the sub names too or I'm thinking too much over it hehe.
  5. Would it be possible to sort the platform list to anyway we like? For example I would like to sort Arcade systems at top then consoles then handhelds and later computers after handhelds. Free form basically ?
  6. I love RL, I use it all the time and its great. I never used the pause system yet but one day maybe. I was just curious to people who didn't like it or want it integrated what their views were is all :).
  7. I was watching the last stream and I saw many people saying that hate RL and how it acts or has bugs? Can you elaborate on what is the negative effect of using it versus the builtin system of emulators of LB? What are the pros and cons? I have everything configured in RL and things work great so far and is independent of the front-end I use. Some have mentioned "What parts do you want integrated into LB from RL"? Thanks!
  8. You'll need to make a custom platform ( NEC PC Engine CD ) for each and have it scrape as Turbografx CD , then import your CDs using that platform.
  9. Yes, what happens is people will have to edit all those platforms and add them back What Ive had to do.
  10. You need to fix some platforms. They should always have the company name in front of the platform. SNK NeoGeo needs a space between Neo and Geo !! ---- Panasonic 3DO Interactive Multiplayer Mattel Intellivision Microsoft MSX NEC PC-Engine Supergrafx NEC Turbografx-16 NEC Turbografx-CD Bandai Wonderswan Bandai Wonderswan Color This is how roms sets are name, Rocket Launcher and how most users sort the systems.
  11. I have been smooth sailing so far, haven't seen one crash so far on latest LB beta pushed.
  12. Space is cheap, there is no need to zip CD-based games ever. It's not like I am going to use 1000 USA PS2 games, I hand make my .XML lists of games, around 100 roughly.
  13. the edit button goes away but at the bottom is "so crashes" I meant "no crashes". Im about to buy a new TV if I cant get this saturn working LOL well maybe not but.. I'll post that seperate.
  14. 64bit of course
  15. LB version noticed 5.8 beta versions (don't rem exact one). Got the NT errors. LB updated to 5.9 release same thing. Got the VLC errors. Keyboard or MS 360 pad would do this. 5.8 beta versions Once bigbox loads I can scroll up and down systems fine. Once I enter a system to see the games are and it crashes. 5.9 release Everything was fine until I scrolled to gigawing on naomi and crashed, I repeated it again, same. Repeated again on other systems like my Capcom Arcade only menu. Crash Both issues above were used on the following systems: ASUS GENE-Z z86 8GB Corsair PC3-12800 DDR3 i5-2500K CPU no o/c Cruical 250GB SSD WiFi 5Ghz Geforce 460 GTX Panasonic G50 Plasma 60" 1920x1080 A fresh re-install of Windows 7 SP1 with no updates applied. Minimal program installs ASUS motherboard drivers .NET 4.6.1 VLC 2.2.2 2015 VB Distro's ----------- I was only using the bare min to get LB/Rocketlauncher working. I use rocketlauncher to configure my emu's and without using launchbox ensure RL works with all systems outside. I load my roms and LB videos off my NAS. LB navigation worked and didn't crash, just BigBox. Once 5.9 came out, I redid windows again, full format. Now crash was saying that VLC error if you scroll up for screenshot. --------------- I had enough at this point when it seems only I had this issue. Maybe some chipset problem, unknown. I went and bought a whole new PC LOL. It was time for it anyways. I really didn't want to buy windows 10 for the hell of it so I passed on that idea for now. So yesterday I got it all configured: ASUS GENE VIII z170 8GB Corsair 2133 DDR4 i5-6500 CPU Samsung NVME PRO 250GB PCIE x4 SSD (2k reads/1k writes) WiFi 5Ghz Geforce 960 GTX Panasonic G50 Plasma 60" 1920x1080 A fresh re-install of Windows 7 SP1 with no updates applied. Minimal program installs ASUS motherboard drivers .NET 4.6.1 VLC 2.2.2 2015 VB Distro's WiFi 5Ghz The bare min to get LB/Rocketlauncher working. The latest version of LB Result is - using VLC as recommended player so crashes. I scrolled up and down trying to force it to but couldn't so far. This is as of the latest version of LB. I will keep you posted but fingers crossed so far so good. Did not select a XBOX 360 controller in Bigbox = working ok Selected a controller and used controller to navigate = no crash Selected a controller and used keyboard to navigate = no crash Hope this info helps!
  16. OK I got a big update coming later to update myself, current at work. I went crazy.
  17. I switched to WMV video and things seems to working fine, no crashes yet but VLC was better in that now I'm using WMV when I launch a game with a preview video that video continues to play as the game launches and in the background so basically unusable. I will do more testing to see if I can force it to crash. Edit: Same VLCcore crash as above when I went back to GigaWing 2 i Naomi. Ugh.
  18. ok so here is what I did, really sucks I can get it working on the HTPC PC here Asus z97 gene / Geforce 960 I reformatted and reinstalled windows again with eh bare min of utils/drivers/libs etc. I ran Bigbox and no crash! I went to play mame, then some FM Towns, then Saturn, back to capcom games, then shooters and then I went into the Naomi list and I started GigaWing 2 and I got this new error which points to VLC which I have 2.2.2 on the PC. Now I get this :( I'm about to buy all new hardware. I have zero problems on my main PC (Asus formula z97, GF770)
  19. OK so, I cant update 4.5 .NET since I have .NET 4.6.1 installed but I repaired that version and updated to official 5.9 release. Samething here is a screenshot of it further info. As before once I enter say my Capcom list and I hit down on the keyboard or controller I get this error, LaunchBox non BB works fine I can scroll around pick this and launch but that is not ideal on a couch and my old eyes.
  20. Yup to both versions and this is a clean install then I started to use BB. I will reinstall .NET again and see, worse case I can reformat (i should have made a image) tomorrow.
  21. No matter which version of BigBox I have used they all crash. Windows 7 Clean Install Clean drivers DirectX installed When I load BigBox it's fine but when I "Enter" a platform/system to view the games it crashes (pic attached). Anyone have ideas? This is ruining my experience :(
  22. Antropus said DOS76 said You already don't need .bat files you just have to have different versions of Demul for arcade and Dreamcast. I already have the .bats setup though so I haven't stopped using them you have to just have a couple of the boxes checked on the main emulator form in manage emulator but those boxes mess with the ability to run the DC images. Yeah, my wrapper kinda bypasses those problems. You just need to run it with no parameters and it will work fine. I have one for Naomi and one for Atomiswave. They completely hide everything with a splashscreen and a progress bar and boot straight to the game. They also move the mouse out of the way and completely disable it, so just the joystick works. It exits straight back to Launchbox with no flashing windows of any kind. Pretty clean. I will change a couple of things and create a the same wrapper, with added flexibility, since I will allow for my own parameter to be parsed. For example, if you want to run naomi, you would just have to point to my wrapper and in the parameter you write "naomi" (or atomiswave, or hikaru or whatever parameter I come up with :) ). I'll try to release the individual wrappers and also this one that will accept parameters, so it can be used with all systems, over the weekend or so. I'm creating some splash screens for the systems right now :) -Kris What are you using? Rocketlauncher? Something totally different?
  23. I would use a Pi3 instead of PC parts, then you can use a normal wall adapter for power.
  24. When I import roms and I use the pull down list to match the system I dont see under N or P "NEC PC Engine" Side note when importing can the program mark (Japan) or (Europe) if its on the filename already? Makes seeing what is a non USA game sometimes.
