CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT

This is obviously very early, but I wanted you guys to hear I worked in the soundbites, bell and music. I have a few ideas for an intro transition to still implement (I want to use a spotlight effect and do something with the logo). Still unsure on other assets, but I think I will place the gameplay footage in the center of the ring. I was considering having it on the mat, but that might be too sharp an angle and the ropes would obscure too, so maybe not.

I'm using this for Playlists. I didn't make it and can't for the life of me remember who did. I've got a Wrestling Collection project underway at the moment, but if no one else picks up on this one, I'll try to come up with something since I don't have a video for this yet either.

How's this? It doesn't look right if the underscore cuts through the middle. Leaving a white border around collection in case someone has a dark background.

Well, if I can hone in to a couple of logos (one 80s and one 90s) then I can hot swap them after getting the theme made and render out each. Then people can have a couple of options.

I'm not good at coming up with logos but what do you think of this?

I found a font that resembles what is used for Wrestlemania. Just need to make a decision for what the playlist will be called and then I can work up a clear logo for it. Wrestling Collection? Wrestlemania? Smackdown? Whatever you want to call it. I'm also thinking it might be cool to have a highlight reel that plays in the background featuring "greatest moments in professional wrestling". All depends on how "noisy" it all ends up being. Would that be better idea than say having clip art of pro wrestlers being feature? I figure trying to feature a bunch of wrestlers might get too crowded, so I thought a highlight reel would be a good solution.

Other than Pro Wrestling for the NES, I don't play any wrestling games, but I could take a crack at making something for you. Any ideas what you want to call this playlist (leaving that up to you)? That way I can come up with a logo to use for it. Also, do you have a music preference for the theme?

Hrm... I'm using the HW version of Beetle and set the Renderer in the Core to Vulkan and the Driver in RA to Vulkan (was set to OpenGL) and it still just crashes (I'm on version 1.60 of RA and ran the core updater), so not sure. I found a thread where someone else had this problem, but fixed it by making sure the Renderer and Driver were the same. If I change the driver to anything other than GL, RA crashes as soon as you try to open the RA UI to change the core renderer. Blah.

I'm giving a Beetle a spin now. I figured out how to switch between controller types. Not as nice as just pressing F5, but it works However, the core crashes whenever I try to bump up the internal resolution from native to anything higher than that. Is this a know deal?

Hi All, I compiled all of my multi-disc PS One games into PBPs quite a while ago and I use ePSXe as my emulator. I'm curious how you go about disc-swapping for these in ePSXe? I suppress the GUI for ePSXe in LaunchBox and my memory is that, similar to PCSX2, opening a second instance of the emulator so you can see the GUI won't allow you to swap to another disc. I prefer ePSXe since I've already got my plugins configured how I like them and also because it's a snap to turn analog control on/off when necessary. I messed around with PCSX Reloaded in Retroarch, but I couldn't figure out how to turn the analog on/off and the last time I tried creating separate configs for the cores to use specific shaders, etc., it wound up being a mess and I had to scrap everything and re-install RA, but I also no it has a virtual disc drive for this very thing. It also doesn't seem to emulate as well as ePSXe does either.

Cool! I'll work on a video theme after I finish the Black Box one. Also, I noticed a portion of the shadow I didn't clear out in the originally attached logos, so I have some edited ones here. I'll include these with the theme too.

I'm working a playlist video theme for Metal Vinnie's Black Box Collection, but I'd be happy to try making one for Metal Slug once I finish that one. I mocked up a couple of Metal Slug Collection Clear logos, too. If you like one over the other, I could use that one for the video. Or if you like neither, I can come up with something else
