@MrAwesomeFalcon Yeah, awesome! For tutorials, I recommend: Video Co-Pilot. These guys are pros and make a lot of motion graphics for movies/TV. They sell a bunch of plugins for After Effects (most of which are pretty spendy), but they also show you how to do a lot of the stuff with what is already built-in to After Effects, which is pretty incredible. Most everything is really easy to follow, but some of the tutorials do require an intermediate understanding of how After Effects works. Sometimes you'll be able to find character art already in PNG format with an alpha channel (background transparency), but frequently you'll have to use a wallpaper or something else and cut it out yourself. @JamesBaker actually put up a few tutorials himself and the first one covers exactly how to do this in Photo Shop. If you don't have Photo Shop/don't want to pay for it, you can also use GIMP, which is free and is what I used for the last several years (only recently upgraded my Creative Cloud license to include all of Adobe's software). However, the pen tool in Photo Shop is significantly more powerful for cutting out images than the Fuzzy Select tool in GIMP is. PC Game Themes (16:9) View File Going to go ahead and start a thread for PC games. I have well over two hundred games, so I'll just be uploading new ones as I feel like doing them. I've already done a number, so I have links below for those. Newer themes will go into the playlist further below (starting with Dead Space) and will be downloadable from this page. Update: 06/11/2020 - This thread was getting obnoxious so I removed all the other links I had here as I intend to re-visit a number of those older videos at some point since I was still pretty new to AE when I originally made those. I will probably clear out a number of these as well that are not the latest versions I've made. Someone had also asked me a while back if I could bundle these into one big upload, so I will do that once I clean up previous versions and the channel. I will still upload individually too, but after I get 50 or so new ones made I will add them to the overall "bundle" download. Update 2: 06/11/2020 - So a bundled upload just isn't possible since I can't attach ZIP, RARs, 7z, etc.... so nevermind that idea. Hey! This is sweet!

So this is what I've got so far. This is cached at half resolution since it would have taken too long to cache at full, but I think it gives a good gist. Because it's just cache, there is a little warping/skipping in the audio/video, but they won't be there once rendered. I'm still not sure on this, but I'm going to use the belt to feature the gameplay clips. I figure there tons of wrestling games, so I'm going to use all five "squares" on the belt. I thought it would be cool to transition to a Los Luchadores style about midway through, so the flag transitions to Mexico's and then I switched to a theme song for a Mexican tag team duo (OGT), but not sure I like it. Should I just keep it American wrestling? I don't know. I'm also going to drop the light rigging fixtures if I can't get the lights to interact correctly with the belt, but I haven't started that yet, so they are still in there. Also still deciding on intro/transition stuff.

I've still got one coming for ya. Haven't had a lot of time to devote to it the past week, but I have made some progress. I'll load a clip later today. I'm still unsure about it, though. I want to incorporate Los Luchadores wrestling into it, as well, but not sure how it fits overall. You'll have to see. Also still not sure how I want to display the gameplay clips... or how to get the spotlight to work how I want it to, so might have to give up on that bit of it.

@BlueArrowUK I've already got started on this, ha ha! Here's a peek at the beginning. The video is going to be roughly 4:30, so it'll be biggish size-wise, but I think it's going to turn out awesome in the end.

WiiWare Themes (16:9) View File This will be on hiatus after this initial upload until I am finished with the PlayStation themes (about half way finished). However, I wanted to get this uploaded sooner than later. This was originally going to be for Mega Man 8 for PlayStation, but the Mega Man I wanted to use is actually from Mega Man 10 and then I realized I already have Mega Man 8 for Saturn, but I digress... Anyhow, this theme is just as much a @JamesBaker theme as it is my own. James has started doing tutorials for Adobe Suite software and since I had questions about how to get Echo to work right, he used the Mega Man art I wanted to use in some tutorials covering those things, so a humongous thank you to him for giving some lessons and for giving detailed explanation for what is exactly occurring when applying effects and adjusting values. Once I'm done with PlayStation, I'll finish this collection up next, though I don't have very many WiiWare titles. 1. I'll totally try and come up with a cool theme for this!

- Points 2 and 3 that @lordmonkus suggests - The Clean up images tool to be a clean up media tool and include video/music/manuals that no longer have an associated game. - The ability to mark a game as Completed while in BigBox and ability to delete games and associated media (I wouldn't consider this a new feature since it exists in LB). It's already possible to mark a games as a Favorite or Broken and you can even add games to Playlists while in BigBox, so it'd be nice to get some of these functions from LB rolled into BB. - Additional apps being sorted in ascending order in BigBox. Example: If you have a Disc 02 and Disc 03, in LB, it will be in ascending order in the game's right-click menu. However, in BigBox, it lists them in descending order (e.g.: Disc 03 will come before Disc 02) - @JaysArcade's suggestion about the non-repeating logo for platforms with few games in them. Perhaps adding a hard stop to the wheel scroll (so "Z" doesn't loop back to "A" and vice versa) would make that possible? Then it could be made a toggle feature in BigBox's options: Full Wheel scroll and Locked Wheel Scroll... or something like that?

WHAAAA??? You telling me you do that with a mouse and keyboard? Holy cow. Now that makes those videos even more awesome. I was thinking of going ahead and paying the extra $30 per month to get all of the Creative Cloud software. I use GIMP because that's all I've ever used, but I did hear a while back that you can import projects seemlessly throughout the applications. I also found out, after I had already opted for After Effects, that Premiere would have been the way to go for the smaller projects I do... After Effects is over kill, but oh well. I really appreciate you taking the time to check and I LOVE that Super Famicom video. I am hoping (fingers-crossed) that you'll do one for a generic Playlist (I can't come up with any ideas for one yet), one for the MSX (nobody gives any love to that thing) and then, of course, PC Engine CD and the SuperGrafx.

No problemo! I want to use it as an easier method to get the motion trail effect when something is moving around and I want to make it look like it's going fast. I've had to resort to making multiple copies of the image and then setting the timings slightly off for each one (and apply a blur effect to the trailing duplicates) to get that effect. It's super time consuming and a pain, especially if you want the image to do anything other than moving back and forth, so I tend to opt out of using in my videos with motion most of the time, but it looks cool in certain circumstances. I heard about the echo effect and watched some videos, but every time I apply it and increase the echo above 1, the image just gets brighter and brighter with no motion trail. I guess a good example of the effect is in your DS video. The wings of the pokemon have that kind of effect. Not sure you used echo there, but that's what I've seen echo do in the videos I've watched. I was also curious if you use a Wacom tablet for recreating images? I've considered purchasing one (I draw frequently) since they seem to be compatible with GIMP with a little elbow grease for getting the inputs mapped. It'd be nice to have an idea for how to re-create/create images for games that either have no artwork available or really low quality art.

Hey @JamesBaker I know you use Premier, but do you ever use the Echo effect in your comps? Every time I want to use it, it doesn't work the way I see it working in the tutorials I've watched on it. Instead of creating duplicates of the image, it just brightens the image that I apply it to. Other than adjusting the number of echoes, I leave everything else at defaults (just like in the tutorials), so I have no idea why it would just make the image brighter without any actual echoes. Just wondering if you have ever noticed this/have any clue what I might be doing wrong.

I really appreciate that! I'd like to make things more professional looking, so I'm always up for tutorials to learn more stuff. I've been using time expressions for over-time evolution, but I did not know about loop out expressions, so thank you. I usually watch Andrew Kramer's Video Co-Pilot tutorials. It's pretty nice they show you how to do things within After Effects that their plug-ins are made to do, since I can't validate spending $100, $200 or $300 for some of them (although I have been tempted to get 3D Elements, but probably won't). I DID get Twitch ($45) and I use the Color Vibrance and Saber plug-ins (FREE!!).

This is obviously very early, but I wanted you guys to hear I worked in the soundbites, bell and music. I have a few ideas for an intro transition to still implement (I want to use a spotlight effect and do something with the logo). Still unsure on other assets, but I think I will place the gameplay footage in the center of the ring. I was considering having it on the mat, but that might be too sharp an angle and the ropes would obscure too, so maybe not.

I'm using this for Playlists. I didn't make it and can't for the life of me remember who did. I've got a Wrestling Collection project underway at the moment, but if no one else picks up on this one, I'll try to come up with something since I don't have a video for this yet either.
