  1. Thanks! More on the way as promised Just taking a small break trying to finish the recorded HyperSpin themes up and get those out for everyone. EDIT: BTW, this was just brought to my attention... It's still in development but the current build is fully playable and actually a neat twist on Mega Man 7 in terms of story. I will get to art for this and such after I finish SORR and a few others.
  2. NES themes are almost done! I would've been done already but I keep finding new themes on the HyperSpin forums and in other places that weren't in the download section. So we'll have a pretty nice collection of NES themes soon! I've also been throwing in my own themes for games that didn't have anything so making those takes even more time but I'll be sure to post and let you know when those are on the FTP. 3. Yeah I misread your post, sorry about that. I do a lot of vids for EmuMovies so I do all my videos in that style So the Megadrive/Genesis boxes would make for some cool alternatives. I'll get going with some ideas tomorrow after work and post back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Awesome! I'll see what I can do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. You read my mind@Charco I had planned on doing just that! The title screen is a perfect back drop for the theme video. Wasn't aware EmuMovies had a video snap for this... I'll have to check it out and try and do something a bit different. Never hurts to have variety. If you happen to have a 3D box template I'll be more then happy to make a 3D box for you! 6. Thanks for the kind words@BlueArrowUK I'll get to work ASAP on SORR. As for 3D box art, I'm toying around with a design but so far it's not quite what I'm looking for. I might post something soon and get opinions. I like the simplistic Games For Windows template I'm using now as it keeps things simpler and uniform. I use 3D art for most of my other platforms but honestly all of that art came from my HyperSpin days and I just migrated it over when I switched to LaunchBox. I rarely use the built in downloader to obtain box art and screenshots as I already had complete sets matching my ROMs from when I used HyperSpin. I mostly use the LB database primarily just to get game info and if I need art, I usually source it out myself and tweak it to my liking. I will plan on updating the first post in this thread that way I can keep track of what's been done, and what's still on the 'to do' list There are still several Mega Man hacks and PC fan games I want to do such as Mega Man Eternal and Mega Man Revenge of the Fallen, so I'll be adding those as well. After SORR I have to get back to other projects for a bit as I keep getting side tracked with new games, lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Alright guys, Zelda Mystery of Solarus is up! I decided last minute to get rid of some of the alternate box art I had made for this title and decided to go with what I though were the best 3. This is a really awesome and very well-made game... I wasn't expecting it to be all that great but it really is and you can tell a lot of care was out into making it. I'm looking forward to the new game the creator is currently working on. Streets of Rage Remake is up next @BlueArrowUK, anything specific you want me to do for this title other then a theme? If you like your existing box art, I'll use that... might make some alternates as well.

  10. Just finished rendering the theme video. This pack will be up shortly I did seven variants of the box art (2D) so you'll have to pick the one you like bast and go with it. I didn't do back box art as of yet but I may at some point. The back box art I found was in french so I wasn't to clear on the story for the game and that's another reason I didn't feel comfortable doing back box art. Everything else will be included (Clear logo, still snaps, videos, etc). Edit: I suppose I could've just read the in-game story and mocked up a description for the back box. I may do that soon and just update the download.
  11. Yeah, thanks guys! I finally figured it out and am working my way to the first dungeon recording the video. Do you guys want 3D art for this? I don't use 3D art for my PC games as there's just way to much to keep track of and 2D is easier to find. Let me know though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Unfortunately I'm not seeing any control options in this game. Nothing in the options menu.. obviously I'm missing something here... what version do you have@BlueArrowUK Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. ok great! Thanks I'm looking now to see if I can resolve the issue I'm having.
  14. Are there controller options in game or do you use a third party program? Sorry, I haven't explored it too much yet and really want to record some high quality video rather then just rip the trailer from YouTube.
  15. I'm trying to, yes. But having issues getting my controller to work right.
  16. This one might have several alternates to choose from I'll also be sure to use the PAL game ratings as well for variants for my friends in the UK.
  17. So I'm playing this Zelda game and trying to capture some gamplay for the video... for some reason it isn't playing nice with my 360 controller. Link moves on his own and I'm not sure why? Any of you guys have this working with a 360 pad? In the meantime I've been working on covers for this game...
  18. I'm at work right now but just searched to read up on them. Idk how I didn't know about these but they'll be added to my short list as A Link to the Past is my all-time favorite Zelda game! From the snapshots I've seen, they look really good and I'm anxious to play them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Streets of Rage remake is already on my short list to get done. Everything else I'll make note of can you shed some light on the Zelda titles you mentioned? I'm going to assume these are fan made PC titles but I'm not sure. I haven't played those so I'll have to grab them and check them out and also record video snaps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. So, I figured with the release of my latest media pack (Mega Man Ultra for the NES) that it was finally time to start my own dedicated thread! The purpose of this thread will be to share source art for hacks, fan-made games, homebrews, unlicensed, etc. Got a ROM hack or some other custom game you'd like to see art for? post it here and I'll do my best to put together the appropriate media for use in your BigBox setup. I've only recently been adding ROM hacks and fan-made PC games to my setup and one thing that bugged me was the lack of good quality art. So, in between my current projects over at EmuMovies, I've decided to try and "remedy" the problem by making my own media and sharing with the community. Any and all help is appreciated. I'm going to note that I will be taking a little break from doing media for ROM hacks, etc as I want to get back to finishing up the recording of all the HyperSpin themes. NES is currently completed and I'm just doing editing and then I'll be uploading those to my EmuMovies FTP folder. After I finish those remaing platforms for the HyperSpin videos, I'll get back to being able to dedicate more time to this little project. But for now, below is a list currently of what I have available for this project here on the site for download: PC (Windows) -AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) -Castlevania II: Simon's Quest ReVamped -Legend of Zelda - Mystery of Solarus -Mega Man Unlimited -Streets of Rage Remake Nintendo Entertainment System -Castlevania: Chorus of Mysteries -Mega Man Ultra -Metroid: Rogue Dawn -Rockman 4: Minus Infinity -Super Mario Bros. 3MIX -Zelda: The Legend of Link Super Nintendo Entertainment System -Mega Man X: Generation -Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past DX -Legend of Zelda: Parallel Worlds -Super Mario Land 3: Tatanga's Return -Super Mario Omega -Super Metroid (Hyper Metroid) -Super Metroid: Redesign I also want to point out that I won't be doing art for every ROM hack out there... there are way to many and lots of them are crap. I wont be doing art for challenge hacks or "IMPOSSIBLE" hacks, (here's looking at you Super Metroid IMPOSSIBLE). I'm mostly interested in hacks that provide a nice challenge but still perfectly beatable, and hacks that compliment the original game in some way by letting you play as a different charachter, or new levels, powerups, etc. In short, I want quality and I want what gets played and talked about the most. No one wants 500 SMB3 hacks in there setup... a handful of the best possible will do just fine and besides, you got to draw the line somewhere!
