  1. Hi @Jason Carr, when I use the new startup screen feature and the game is launched, I get a black screen. It seems that the startup screen (in black, after loading the game) doesn´t close itself and get as the focus window, but the game is working in another windows, so I need to do the "Alt+tab" to change the focus window. I thought that the problem would be Rocketlauncher, but I tested launching a game directly from LB.
  2. Yes, that file. Edit with notepad++ with LB closed.
  3. The reason of the not Game found happens because you cant put the directory of mame ROMs when you use the wizard. I solved the problem editing the Mame.XML adding the path Of the roms.

  5. @Jason Carr I think I have a similar problem. When importing games, they don´t find anything for alternate names, so I have to open manually the edit dialog for each game and then they match by alternate name, but this task is frustating.

    New Fields

    I would like a related games fields, if you select a game then it will show you other games that has belong to its serie or the same game in other platforms.
  7. @UnderwoodNC with last update it works really good!!. Do you planning to develope massive updating?, so you can select a few games and the plugin batch multiple operations to create or update games in DB?
  8. @slipsystem I tried to get a APIkey from Mobygames, but Simon answered this to me: "Thanks! We are not permitting API use for plugin users right now because that will be a lot of work for us to individually approve API use manually for LOTS of users, sorry. We will be allowing plugins that grab images to their own database and allow Launchbox users to access them there. We have had multiple Launchbox plugin authors contact us recently so we imagine one of them will sort this out soon" What can we do to use the plugin?.
  9. @Jason Carr It works from the edit game window, but when I tried to download metadata option selecting all games for a platform doesn´t work. I marked the option of only replace metadata field that are empty, and those games don´t have the link to the DB.
  10. Hi @slipsystem there is a new beta that recognize alternate names for games. Is it in your plans integrate it with your plugin?. Can it be match with the alternate names of Mobygames?
  11. @UnderwoodNC yes!yes!yes!. It works now both cases, with front boxes and screen titles!!! I only noticed that back boxes (in the cases I mentioned previously) don´t upload. I trying today to do more testing. Thanks!.
  12. Chrome. All the images im tryinh to upload can be viewed in the edit window of the game. In other games it works, only fails the title image. But I want to say that now only tested 5 or 6 games.
  13. I´m trying the Altered Beast game, and it´s the same result of Alien 8, only missed the title screen, so its probably that the plugin can´t be upload this image type? And the case of Aliens: .... could be for the difference between the name of the game and the images (":" --> "_"), this is a conversion that LB does.
  14. @UnderwoodNC sorry, I try another game, Alien 8 for Amstrad CPC, with a similar situation. But in this case it upload a screen gameplay, but not title gameplay. Can affect the name of the game??, for example the box for the game "Aliens: The Computer Game" is "Aliens_ The Computer Game-01.jpg"

  16. @UnderwoodNC this issue only happens when a game already exists in the DB and I try to add a new artwork. I tested with a few differents games, and the results are the same.
  17. @UnderwoodNC I just tried. I don´t get that extras images been upload. I try to specific the steps: - Select a game that already exists in the GameDB, especifically "Aliens: the computer game" for Amstrad CPC. - The game only have metadata, no images in the DB - I have downloaded the box front, screen gameplay and title - I select the option of your plugin for update game in the DB - IT prompt me to the LBDB and ask me if it´s a game that already exists - I select the existing game on the DB - The script stop on the metadata screen of the game and nothing happens - If I pass the mouse over the images links (even if I don´t click on the link) it goes to the images tab, but it freezes here - I need to close manually the explorer and in sometimes the focus doesn´t come back to LB and I need to force the close of LB
  18. Ok, perfect, I just tried the same case but with boxes images, and the result it´s the same. The "plugin" freezes when arrived to the game that already exists and don´t add any image.
  19. @UnderwoodNC I´m just update to last beta and works the other images types!!. Great! Another case I don´t know if is implemented. I have a game that already exists in the DB, but I have more images (in this case are ingame and title screens), I click in the game update option, it prompt me to the DB and find the game that exists in the DB. I click the game and open the add images tab, but nothing more happens... I don´t know if this is a issue or not is implemented. Thanks!
  20. @UnderwoodNC great work!. I tried the last version, but I can´t upload the gameplay type image. It only upload the boxes images.
  21. @Jason Carr about why I don´t have the 100% games of automatic playlist... Which are the filters of the automatic playlist?, Can I reproduce with manual playlist?. For example, for "konami classics", the filter would be only: - Platform is Arcade (or MAME or wathever I named) - Publisher contains Konami Or it use other fields?, developer?, tittle?, etc... thanks!

  23. Hi folks, maybe someone could help me with this, but I think specially @DOS76. I want to separate my MAME romset to have a platform for Naomi, other for Sega Model, AAE, Sammy, etc... and leave the MAME romset without these roms, mainly for compatibility. I download several .bat files from DOS76 scripts, but the namefiles don´t match 100%. My questions: - Are these scripts for split or merge romsets? - Where can I get documentation about the complete files list of games for each platform?. I don´t want to import a original rom for AAE for example, and leave the clones in the MAME romset. I want to separate totally by scripts, in different folders. - I suppose that rom filenames would be change in newer versions of MAME, where I can see this? PD: My first idea was to use automatic playlists, but I didn´t have the correct results, missing files or have the MAME romset with a lot of trash forcing no working games into LB. (only with games / platforms that works in other emulators, like demul, CPS3, nebula, etc...) Thanks!.
