Sounds like your display scale is set larger than 100%, anything over 100 will cause alignment issues. The star ratings won't show unless you have set them, per game, in LaunchBox first. Currently the ratings don't get scraped with the other metadata. Platform details are turned on and off in the options, make sure you have on what you prefer. That view uses default elements, so you most likely have some turned off in your options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Sure thing. If you want I can send you my Photoshop files for the interface. I rebuilt everything from scratch referencing screenshots from the web. It would give you a cleaner output.

Translucent Theme View File Translucent v1.0.1 BigBox Theme 1/31/2017 Theme Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Translucent is a modern-ish theme that features real-time Gaussian blurring behind its transparent panels giving them a frosted glass look. The effect works on both background art and background videos. Theme Notes ~~~~~~~~~~~ * Requires the font Bebas Neue, which is included in the root theme folder. Install it before running BigBox. * This theme is designed for 1080. The way the blur effects are implemented as well as the way that some text is formatted won't provide optimal results at any other resolution. I am aware of this, there is no need to comment and tell me about it. Beauty trumped compatibility on this one. * Any display scaling above or below 100% is likely to cause alignment issues with some of the theme elements. * The real-time Gaussian blurring can be a resource hog with fullscreen background videos enabled. Setting all transitions to "None" can help performance, as will using fan art backgrounds instead of videos. Submitter Grila Submitted 01/30/2017 Category Big Box Custom Themes

I did the same thing and had the exact same problem! Search for forums.launchbox-app.com and it should show up. Searching launchbox by itself gives no results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Not trying to be harsh, but why make requests to having the default theme changed when it's easily editable yourself? Jason has a lot on his plate and I don't think trivial changes to the default theme are justified when he's given us a way to edit and create themes. XAML isn't that complicated, but if you still don't feel comfortable editing or creating a theme to your specific needs then how about making a request in the themes forum? Again, I'm not trying to be a dick but these aren't the kind of changes that need focused on when the ability to edit themes already exists. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Since the forum switch, Tapatalk doesn't seem to be working anymore with the LaunchBox Forums (can't browse, won't let you log in). Is anyone else experiencing this or am I FUBAR on my end? I've used it with these forums from my beginning and have never had any problems... I've tried deleting the app and re-installing, but to no avail.

@Rincewind I believe it's ThumbnailListView, the textblock at the top of the dockpanel. I assume you're talking about the favorites and recent sections that show the covers?

Vertical Wheel 1. You should bind a key in your BigBox options to change views, then you can just hit that key to cycle through them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I don't think it will ever be changed for the text navigation because it's just a standard Windows List Box (like you would see in any other Windows program), just styled to not look like one. There's only so much that can be done with standard Microsoft code elements.

You didn't read the info about the theme. You have to use WMP for the video, the bugginess your seeing is caused by VLC. The font issue is most likely due to display scaling in your system...it has to be set at 100%, no more or less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Are you talking about the navigation or the game notes and details? Navigation can't be changed, that's how the list view works. If you're talking about the game notes and details just turn off scrolling in the BigBox options. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Thanks @keltoigael I designed this as a tribute to Minimal, just updated a bit according to all the new 1080 media we have at our disposal now. At the time when I released Minimal, @Nyny77 was just starting his 1080 videos and the EmuMovies videos were still the mainstream. I am considering throwing a tribute view to the original Minimal in this one, though.

Unfortunately no, its this giant sized (8379 x 2605 pixels) .PNG that Jason posted. I just changed the black text to white in Photoshop.

Fundamental Theme View File Fundamental is a clean theme that focuses on big artwork. Large, high quality covers are recommended to get the best visual appearance. ********************************************************************************************************************* A couple of notes about this theme: - After unzipping, you have to unblock the DLL that contains the font (in the plugin folder). -Requires the font Bebas Neue, included in the root theme folder. Install it before running BigBox. -Any display scaling above or below 100% is likely to cause alignment issues with some theme elements. -Because of the way the videos and their rounded corner mask re-size based on aspect ratio, you have to use WMP with this theme. VLC aligning in BigBox is horribly buggy at the moment and it doesn't work with the way things are accomplished in this theme. -I realize I could have accomplished my UI background files in pure XAML. I tested this and it decreased the theme's performance substantially, so I reverted back to using the images. -This theme is based around high quality vertical covers (1534x2100) for all platforms and game boxes (yes, even Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64). A good collection of them can be found at http://www.thecoverproject.net/. The theme will work with horizontal covers, it just won't look as intended. -Background opacity for the text based views is changed in the BigBox "Options" menu. A good setting range is 75-90 percent depending on your display. -I've included 12 custom platform banners that I made based on each systems game boxes. I may make a few more, but don't count on it. Be creative and make the ones you're missing yourself. Submitter Grila Submitted 01/25/2017 Category Big Box Custom Themes

That's an unfortunate consequence of how these videos are implemented right now. This video is actually too long for my system. The variance between people's systems and their load time will make it nearly impossible for every video to be compatible with every system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
