Good advice guys. I think i'll do both...multiple 8TB builds for completion sake and to have a solid ps3/wiiU/Wii collection, and also create a smaller (highly curated collection which i'd likely use most), which I know I can get down to 3-4tb easily...ao much crap out there I don't care to play.

Well of course, I just meant based upon other similar style 16bit rpg games... i've heard the music/audio is something special; something about what they did with the audio format...beyond regular CD audio.

LOL I didn't realize it, but it was loading the SoundTrack CD only...that is the only .cue I have...I can't seem to find this actual title on CD. (only the MegaDrive version). Darn!

I'm not able to load this game using Genesis GX in the retroarch core...it tells me that I need to insert a cartridge first? Any way to fix that?

I realize this thread is old, but relevant to my current inquiry... did either of you figure out the best emulator to use for the few multi-disc Sega CD games out there? Any help appreciated.

Both seem to work fine...what am I losing from one and gaining from the other beyond uniformity with using Retroarch with more stuff (which may be enough if all things are equal otherwise) Is it true that Genesis GX does not do multi-Disc games? I thought I read about that somewhere...

I was wanting to grow the collection however and that's the challenge when it comes to the dollars because the drive prices just aren't optimal for it yet.

Yes I know...scary...which is why I will back it all up using Backblaze for $5 a month, they even give option to send hard drive to recover if needed to...just wondering if anyone had a better solution for cheaper.

NOTE: I would love to be able to RAID/mirror a drive at 16TB usable space, but I can't afford a $1300-1500 solution right now. I'd rather rely on something like Backblaze (much slower yes, but a cloud solution for $5 a month...), and at least have a larger collection....for now anyways.

I have noticed that since updating to 8.9 official LB, all my Taito-Type X games crash on launch with game.exe (not responding) error....can anyone else confirm this? Thanks.

Awesome thanks Jason, I may update to the latest Beta on my smaller collection but unfortunately I don't know if that fix will show only on the large version...but I don't like to update to the Beta on my big one...

I'm having the same issue....but worse...FRUSTRATING as this is my main view and it takes forever (62sec the last time) to load now. I have a platform created for playlists (mixed collections), I have a lot of playlists in it, but this has never been a problem before the most recent couple updates.
