  1. I was afraid of that....the issue is Launchbox Retroarch settings allow you to specify which .cfg you want to load per platform...I don't want to ever have to change this. I want to give my collection to some family members, they have different joystick/gamepad configs and they won't know how (or want) to do this. That sucks...I guess if I keep it platform BEZELS, and not game specific, that's the best solution because at least I get a bezel vs none, right?
  2. I'll host those files later today and send you the link or you have a google drive I can throw it into?
  3. So basically as long as I use the generic system bezel each time, I'm good..save config always works, but the moment I use a game specific bezel, it will save configs no longer...I guess I'm stuck with defaul bezels per system. ?
  4. OH crap, but now the little Nemo bezel loads for ALL NES games...I guess the generic bezel is better than none, but damn, I wish I could get the specific ones; looks much cooler!
  5. I sort of figured out a way around it, but it's not sustainable... I marked as FALSE this line in the new config: auto_overrides_enable = "false" (it was true), when I load game, it loaded the generic NES bezel, instead of the game specific one and SAVED OKAY. I then navigated via Retroarch to overlays and enabled the specific one under the GameBezels folder and IT SAVED...imagine doing that for hundreds of games though, LOL... --- That new nestopia file looks like this and it matches the working Atari 7800 one in the same folder too: overlays = 1 overlay0_overlay = Nintendo-Entertainment-System.png overlay0_full_screen = true overlay0_descs = 0
  6. No I searched the entire Retroarch folder and sub-folders...I only have nestopia_libretro-FC.cfg (which is for my Famicom games, that's the only other one.
  7. I just have presumably what the bezel installer added in CONFIGS\NESTOPIA, many cfg files for each game to load specific bezels for each, so in the case of little nemo, the cfg is: "input_overlay = ":/overlays/GameBezels/NES/Little Nemo - The Dream Master (USA).cfg""
  8. I'm thinking because the 7800 uses a generic bezel for all games, and the NES using individual bezels, there has to be something different because of that...but what? I noticed when I load 7800 it just plays, no popup msg, but when I load NES it says on bottom left: "configuration override loaded" in yellow text...does that help?
  9. I changed it to TRUE in the new one, launched a game and it was indeed set true, then made a small change and exited...it did not save it...I opened it and tried it save config again, it fails....no idea why it works fine for Atari 7800, but not NES (and others, I recall)
  10. Here it is ? Retroarch_config_Bug submission files.zip
  11. Nes fails, even if I uninstall bezels for it, it saves configs then, I even tried shutting off save on exit (and it saved that setting fine), but the moment I install bezels I can't save anymore, I even tried to save a new config and it worked for that, but when I try to save over THAT one, it fails...forcing me to always save new configs...ugh. I've attached what I mean....thank for the help!
  12. Well crud...atari 7800 worked great, it saves over the same config over and over...nintendo however (NES). opened with bezels fine, but when I try to save config (existing one), Retroarch says FAILED TO SAVE...here we go again. ?
  13. Seemed to be working great so far...but can you tell me if I should toggle SAVE CONFIGURATION WHEN EXITING' turned ON, or should I toggle that off...there is a bug apparently for some, and it hit me last time that caused all config saves to fail...would you happen to know the best approach to this?
  14. Sorry man, I totally spaced on this, good to hear you got it figured out...you hacked/programmed it?
  15. I will, going to try it now, but wary of it nuking my ability to save configs in retroarch, that happened with an earlier Windows version release I tried awhile back (from that other link...), I simply could not save any more manually...like after controller inputs or any other changes...it was frustrating, had to restore RetroArch and rebuild all my configs...gonna do one platform at first just to test it out...I'll let you know!
  16. I appreciate your help and responses...any idea when the final version will be released on the GitHub?
  17. Thank you. I hate Rocketlauncher, I only use MAME and Retroarch, is that okay or will that cause an issue?
  18. This one: https://github.com/thebezelproject/BezelProject Actually, it worked this time, but I see no RELEASE/zip/exe to download for this...sorry if this was covered already somewhere, but how do I get this? Thanks.
  19. This collection that you see here loads fine, but my 8TB takes a min to load and can lag a bit when editing titles; much more so then this one pictured here.
  20. Link is down? I can't access Github...any other way to get this? Will this prevent saving RetroArch configs after installing? I had this issue once with something like this before...it was a mess... is this it? Is this the same? https://github.com/thebezelproject/BezelProject-Windows/releases
  21. Thanks for posting this, but Is it possible to set this up and get it working WITHOUT Rocket Launcher? I hate RL.
  22. This is old guys, but the best N64 one I've found is Mupen64Plus-Next (or called NX) - it renders true to original resolution...very nice.
  23. Okay this is crazy, but it worked. I converted the CUE / many bins to one CUE/ISO, using ISOBUSTER, and it works now in Raine!
  24. Weird...it works fine with CUE/IMG games though..., just not CUE/BIN ?
  25. I have to use RAINE because it has the FAST LOAD feature, and the friend I'm setting it at REALLY WANTS that emulator to work ?
