Retro Console - BB Theme and more. Custom Logo Version
tbm replied to cemfundog's topic in Big Box Custom Themes
Still no luck. I tried with 3 different filenames, in every possible image folder (because the image locations in the instructions are unclear) and it still looks like this- 12 replies

What does "Then just copy, paste & replace when asked the Views folder from any skin into the Play Box 6 root folder" mean? The sentence is kinda jumbled.

I've made bezels for mame and was wondering how I could add them to the bezel project. Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't Install 8.6-Beta-5 Automatically after Download

This is happening to me, too. -
Does Launchbox fall back to those in lieu of official box art?
-
For games that were never officially released and therefore have no cover art, would it be acceptable to upload a fake cover art?
-
Okay, I fixed it. Usually what I do is I open the corrupted XML, delete the entire contents of it and then paste everything from the backup. For whatever reason, that didn't work this time, so I had to delete the corrupt one, make a copy of the backup and rename it.
-
Did you notice anything that could be causing the problem?
-
So Launchbox won't start because the NES xml is corrupted, which is fine. The problem is, none of the backups will work, even though they aren't corrupted. The lines it's saying are the problem are fine. It seems as if it won't load the xml because of apostrophes and other things that shouldn't cause issues. I'll attach the backups. Can anyone see what could possibly be the issue? Thanks. Database moderation is down for me as well. Same error.

Yeah, it's a real bummer than you can't do anything platform-specific like that. How about something like this: But, if like you said, you need something that is quiet and just in the background, either the PS2 or Gamecube system config sounds would work:

PS2 Background View File Here's the background crystal clock that was featured on the Playstation 2 menu. I recorded at 1080p with PCSX2. and edited it to seamlessly loop. Submitter tbm Submitted 02/06/2018 Category Platform Backgrounds

So far it seems to be fixed. Great work, and thanks for helping.

Is this possible? I've set "ParrotLoader.exe" as the emulator and the Mario Kart exe. as the ROM, and it loads the game, but it pops up this error: So yeah, is this possible?

Just ran into this issue again with CriticalZone. I set the per-platform view to "Horizontal Boxes With Details" and it reverts. Even when I edit platforms.xml to use that view and then set it to read-only, it still won't work in Big Box.

Any update to this?

I thought I posted where I got it from already. Anyway, it's from Tekken 7's legacy gallery. As I said, it isn't a flyer, but that's the only category that makes any sense. There's no category for rendered game art.
