Ok so you put that command line in the "Application command line parameters" box in addition apps within launchbox? If thats the case your going to have to do something else first. Create a batch file to unmount and mount iso. I kept getting syntax errors using autohotkey but batch file works fine. To make this simpler I suggest putting these files (batch file and autohotkey script) in your D:/Necronomicon folder. Open D:/Necronomicon folder. Right click anywhere. New. Text document. Copy and paste the following: cd "C:\Programs Files\DAEMON Tools Lite" DTAgent.exe -unmount dt, 0 DTAgent.exe -mount dt, 0, "D:\Necronomicon\NEC_AL_2.ccd" In this above, the 0 (zero) is your virtual drive number. So 0 would be your first virtual drive. Necronomicon cd1 will need to be mounted to the first drive for this to work. File - save as - name it MountCD2.bat - save Right click on MountCD2.bat - create shortcut Right click on shortcut - properties - change "Run:" to "Minimised" Now you can do the autohotkey script. For the path-to-run-your-mountcd2-app, put D:\Necronomicon\MountCD2 - Shortcut.lnk

Im not sure if this is going to work correctly. I dont know if im understanding your Mount cd 2 app. Is it an additional app or just mounting another iso? I dont think launchbox has what your looking for but you can try the following... Download and install autohotkey. Rightclick anywhere (lets say desktop) - New - Autohotkey script (rename it to anything you want) Rightclick on the new script - edit script Copy and paste the following (dont delete the lines already there): #SingleInstance, Force #Persistent SetTitleMatchMode, 2 DetectHiddenWindows, On SetTimer, ProcessCheckTimer, 3000 Return ProcessCheckTimer: Process, Exist, Game.exe pid1 := ErrorLevel If (!pid1) { ExitApp } Return NumpadMult:: Goto MountCD2 MountCD2: { Keywait, NumpadMult Run Path-to-your-mount-cd2-app Exitapp } Return Your going to have to modify this a little. Where it says "Game.exe", you need to change it to whatever your game process name is. Example: Necronomicon.exe Where it says "Path-to-your-mount-cd2-app", change that to your Mount CD 2 app path or your iso path. Example C:\Users\username\desktop\etc Save it. Right click on it and compile script. In Launchbox add the compiled script to the additional apps of the game. Select the "Automatically run after main application" box. What this script does is every 3 seconds it will check to see if the game is running. If the games isnt running it will exit the script. If you don't do this then the script will continue to run in the background after you have closed the game. From "NumpadMult" (which I think is the numpad star key) down. It waits for you to press and release the key (If im not mistaken), this way it doesn't send multiple presses (I think). Then runs your Mount CD 2 app. Then closes the script. If you have any problems let me know.

Iv given BB a dashboard. Home button on 360 controller opens and closes windows 10 menu, xpadder to control cursor with controller, press start to resume game. Start + select force closes game. The screen recording software I used was a bit off. The game is of to the side, some delayed playback and black screen between 1.35 and 1.53, I was actually in game looking at a half naked guy. All done with AHK. would be much better and cleaner as a pluggin. Sounds ominous. After spending a good amount of time blocking all sorts of data gathering in win10 i think I'll block LB in firewall from now on. Its a sign of the times... cant trust anyone anymore so better safe than sorry.

If "show additional apps" is enabled. I can run the app through BB without starting the game. ConvertXtoDVD did have command line I dont know if it still does but maybe... I could create a video category and in the menu have an additional app that can burn the video file to dvd. I would prob never burn a dvd but its another gimmick to have... or copy to usb, that I might use.

Dont know if I will get any replies but my lack of imagination has driven me to ask anyway... What features have LB users added that arnt part of LB? What apps have users added to LB that you think complement LB? Any AHK scripts that do "wonderful" things? etc etc... I was thinking of adding rocketlauncher for the bezels and pause etc. Maybe a direct link to youtube (using kiosk mode) in an apps category. Maybe google earth. I dont need netflix or nowtv as I will install kodi at some point or import my video collection into LB. I have recently upgraded to win10 so using AHK and the in built DVR I have mapped screenshot, record that, start and stop recording to x360 controller. Press select + B = records the last minute gameplay etc. I have only done retroarch so far but it should work for most things. So yeah, what cool things have you added to LB that I can nick?

Im not sure if I understand you correctly but anyway... At the moment my platform wheel background image is used for games that are missing backgrounds. Im not sure if you can have a default image that isnt the same as the platform. But anyway for this my settings are... Platform image is stored c:\users\"your name"\launchbox\images\platform\xbox 360\fanart. My image settings in bigbox. Everything turned off except use fanart as background. Remove all fanart from C:\users\"yourname"\launchbox\images\xbox 360\fanart-background. I use xbox 360 as an example. Repeat for all other platforms. Im also not sure if the background is always reloaded as you scroll.

In bigbox goto options/sound, turn video volume to 0%.

Considering how expensive this is becoming I might consider this when I finish sorting out media and meta, so in about 15 years time. Sorry, my mame is only 50gb, 29000 files. My media: have 15000 games, Im prob missing about 3000/4000 vids (my best estimate), I have front cover, back cover, clear logo. Fan art just for x360/one/ps3/ps4/etc. But am still missing some of those as well. But they are stored on my c: which is a SSD. 250gb, have just under 100gb left. I havent got any ps2, im missing maybe 500 wii games, only have 20 wiiu. I have a 4tb for movies. I need 5tb for tv series. Im almost out of space for more games and still have a long way to go yet. Still have over 1tb of pc games archived... all these games I'll never play... this gets addictive.

I use x360 controller. I have... select + R1 to save, select + L1 to load... I use button combo so no accidental presses. I also use retroarch but if for you, F1 is save and F2 is load what you would do in Launchbox is... Tools. Manage Emulators. Highlight Emulator name, Edit. Open the "AutoHotKey Script" tab. Enter the following... Joy5:: if GetKeyState("Joy7") Goto, load return Joy6:: if GetKeyState("Joy7") Goto, save return Joy7:: if GetKeyState("Joy5") Goto, load if GetKeyState("Joy6") Goto, save return save: { Send {F1 Down}{F1 Up} return } load: { Send {F2 Down}{F2 Up} return } What the above is saying is... joy5 (L1) + joy7 (Select) = press F1 Example: If you want to change your save button from F1 to G, then you would change "Send {F1 Down}{F1 Up}" to "Send {G Down}{G Up}". If you wanted to change your button combo then change the numbers next to joy. On x360 controller, Joy1 is A, Joy2 is B etc etc. I hope my explanation is clear enough.

Is it possible, yes. But... I would argue that if your friend can afford to pay then he/she should. The guys here are worth every penny/cent/etc. Refunds are freely given, virtually none existent digital rights management, mods quick to respond no matter how mundane the question, last time I checked LB lone developer easy to talk to and very active. I think that maybe the reason no one has answered you is because the truthful answer is yes you can share but the more money this small team and single dev make the more bills can be paid, the more time he invests in bringing us new features and quite simply, a happy worker is a better worker. If your friend is hard up, we all been there, maybe if he/she can afford to buy a years license and you then share your lifetime. At least that's something right. By the way im just a LB consumer like you. No other connections to the guys here. And this is just my 2 cents.

Im trying to use this wiiware platform logo but it isnt showing in BB. Iv put it Launchbox/images/platform/nintendo wiiware/clear logo. Help please.

you know whats quite annoying... Some of my games now dont match covers and vids. The games have renamed themselves. Not only from the force metadata ones... I have 15000 games to go through.

I didn't need the metadata as I had downloaded it previously, So I was un-checking the download metadata from wikipedia and launchbox options. Enabling these options and force replace worked. Thanks @syntax_X

Im trying to download just the clear logo's for all games per platform. My steps are as follows: I go to Sega Genesis. Highlight all games. Click "tools". Click "Download metadata and media", I un-check everything other than clear logo's in the wizard. This method has worked fine for N64, NES, GC, NDS, SNES, Sega 32, CD, GG, Genesis, MS, SS, PS1, PSP. But I cant seem to get it to work for... Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Wiiware. I know the clear logo's are available because I can download them individually. But for some reason these platforms refuse to download in bulk. Anybody any idea's please? EDIT: ah **** I did not mean to put this in Features section. Im sorry.

I have my games separated into ps3/ps4 or x360/xbone platforms etc etc but im guessing you have yours as windows games or whatever... anyway I done this all manually. Find Prey 2006 in launchbox, right click, edit: Notes tab: add game info Other tab: Manual and video etc etc Change the Region, for example I chose "World" but you can choose anything. Press ok. Now go to C:\Users\"your name"\launchbox\images\"windows"\box - front\ create a folder called "world" if it doesn't exist already, then find and move prey 2006 front cover into that folder. Do this to all images, disc, back cover etc etc. Do the same with prey 2017 but different region and you should be good. Unless you cant handle wrong regions then "shrug". EDIT: Or instead of all this waffle you could go to the edit options. Right click on the images and remove the images you dont want... duh.

A little late I know but I have just run into this... If you rename both files Example: From arc rise fantasia.wbfs arc rise fantasia.wbf1 To arc rise fantasia.wbfs.001 arc rise fantasia.wbfs.002 Extract it with 7 zip and you will have 1 wbfs file.

That didnt work... Every game in Launchbox errors but now in bigbox "88 games" starts no matter what game I choose. It even starts up if I select "arcade" or even "playstation" at the first wheel. lol ffs. I'll delete and start again and I'll try a different setup. Thanks anyway.

@MerlinArcade Did you find a fix? I have the same issue. Everything works fine in MAME but always NOT FOUND through LB.
