  1. We have liftoff! I updated MAME to .241 and the plugin works flawlessly. I am playing Breast Self-Examination right now. Many thanks!
  2. That is super helpful. I will continue to mess around with it. Half the fun of this hobby is the tinkering and troubleshooting. It's not like I want to actually play any of these CDI games. Lol. Keep up the great work. If I get it going, I'll update my progress here.
  3. Thank you for this thorough response. Your plugin is awesome and the problem is obviously somewhere on my end. That's what I assumed, but that didn't happen. The plugin appeared to operate correctly. That was my first impulse as well. I was working with a ton of files, so when they weren't in the expected folder, I figured they might have been automatically nested within a newly created folder. But, no CHDs were created anywhere. I ran through this process. I'm pretty sure I did it correctly. Here is the error I got: Is this the result of having corrupted files? Should I replace all my .cues? This makes it sound like I should be getting some results, even if my bins are bad. How about the cues? Thanks for your help!
  4. I just used this a couple times with Philips CD-I bin and cue files. Each time, the plugin indicated that everything converted successfully, but no CHDs were created. The plugin moved my files, but did not generate a CHD. I'm trying to figure out what might have gone wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  5. I appreciate the response. This seems like a good candidate for an added feature in a new update.
  6. The title basically says is all. I've got a bunch of combined games (multiple regions, versions, etc.) and sometimes I want the default ROM to be a different than the one that it's set to. I'd like to do this with box art as well. Do I just change the ROM file path in the edit screen? If so, won't that just associate incorrect info with a different ROM file? I've seen elsewhere on the forum that I should just delete the art I don't like. Is this the only way to "select" the preferred box art? It seems like all of that would just revert when I search for new media for my entire library. My apologies if these questions have already been answered a million times. Thanks.
  7. I think I figured it out. I'll leave my solution for any one else with the same issue. You don't just past the existing file structure into the clear logo folder. You need to take each image and paste them all into the folder. I think that does the trick.
  8. I think I've installed the Refried theme correctly, but I'm having trouble with the clear logos. I've followed the instructions posted with the logo package, which included creating a new folder in the theme folder for the logos. I've pasted everything in there, but I'm still using the default clear logos. I did the refresh the wheel images. Am I missing something here? Does the theme somehow override the default path for clear logos? Do I need to set something else? I don't want to individually place every new clear logo in each platform and game mode. Any help would be appreciated.
  9. I just attempted to set this up and apparently, it will only work if your PC and your XBOX One are on a wifi connection. I guess they meant "wireless" literally. Everything in my house is hardwired and my PC doesn't even have a wifi adapter. I've read that other people are having issues with all but the absolute best wireless connection. I think MS intended this app to be used as more of a casting tool from devices like the Surface. Perhaps they will update the app in the future.
  10. I haven't tried it yet, but I will and report back here when I do. Might have to wait till the weekend. Thanks.
  11. CastBOX is definitely the right name for this. Such a missed opportunity!
  12. Microsoft launched a new app today that let's you connect to your PC and stream games to your XBOX One. Here's an article from Verge on it: https://www.theverge.com/2019/3/13/18263513/microsoft-xbox-one-pc-games-support-streaming-wireless-display-app-feature Any chance Launchbox will work with this or perhaps could in future releases?
