    Win 3x0

Thanks for the response. Initially when I attempted to run the dos importer I had the files still zipped. When that did not work I started unzipping them manually 1 by 1 and using the dos install option in LB. So far I have been about 50% successful getting the games to launch from Launch box this way. After reading your response I decided to go back and try a few of the games I could not get to launch (Advanced Civilization, Sword of Aragon, Heroes of Might and Magic etc.) The Dos import did not work for any of the games that I was also not able to install manually... I think my next try is to ma's import several games I have not tried yet and then remove any that did not properly setup. -Coleman

    Win 3x0

Thanks Patham! Is there any info on expected timing... should I wait or is it going to be a long time? Also, I just got a game working through dos box, bUT I want to use controllers instead of keyboard commands. Is there a preferred way to impliment this? TIA -Coleman

    Win 3x0

For the eXo dos games; is it a process of importing one at a time or is there an import all function I should know about? Think I'll play around with the win 3x0 as well see what happens...

    Win 3x0

I am looking to install the win 3x0 set in Launchbox. The Readme file states that there is a .bat setup that will install all of the games to run in a FE called MEAGER. Is there a different setup for Launchbox? Do I load one game at a time? It also mentions that any games requirin special configuration's of DosBox have already been correctly setup. Is there any special consideration for this in Launchbox? Any tutorials that I'm missing?
  6. Thanks, but what do I rename them to?
  7. How do i determine what the correct game name is supposed to be? I am going through a C64 import. it seems that most of my zip folders have the correct name, but the actual files inside the zip are all wrong. i was going to use a utility to match up the names, but i need to find a list to match them with... any suggestions?
  8. Ahh. I did not realize that EXO everything.
  9. Yes - I agree that this would be the easy button, but there should be a resource available to learn how to deal with the TDC format as well. I am more interested in having a complete collection that I have to work for a bit then a collection of games that are a plug and play selection of what someone else liked. I am just struggling to gain a little traction on the 'how to' of it. I would think that if an auto import of EXO for Launchbox could be done then also an auto import of TDC could be done?
  10. Ok, I also downloaded the TDC set. At the time I assumed that this was the way to go for a more complete set in terms of "all the games"... Now I am having some trouble getting some of the games to work in launchbox. If I read correctly this is because I need the iso files? Is there a TDC ISO package I need to download? It also sounds like I am going to need to create custom configuration files as needed. Any information on how to do this? While I did appreciate the tutorial that Brad did, and it was full of good information, none of this was really discussed... Also I keep hearing about Daemon tools lite needed to mount the iso in a vritual drive. It seems that launchbox has this function built in. Is this really needed?
  11. can anyone explain to me or point me to a tutorial on how apps like Kodi and Netflix are used with Launch box? I am posting here because the app logos are the only place I really see any mention of th is possibility.
  12. i think im having the same type of troubles...
  13. Thanks for the help guys. I am running 1.4.0 retroarch. Found the core loader - I think the menu I was in was to update cores and not download a new core.
  14. I would like to throw in another request for improvement to filter functions. Creating custom filters would help especially with my kids who have a much more limited range of games that appeal to them...
  15. That's it, exactly. .. When I go to retroarch, and navigate to download cores, why don't I have an option for gx plus? The only option for genesis/ms/32x/cd is Pico drive. ....
  16. I am very new to this so it is likely that I am just making a simple mistake here. I have Retroarch set as my default genesis emulator. Since I have retroarch and it supports genesis I saw no good reason not to use this.. Retroarch does not have a core for gx plus so I loaded the Pico core. Again I can get the game to load in retroarch using pico, but I can not link through launchbox - when I try nothing happens. I don't load retroarch, I don't get a black screen, the cursor spins for a second like it tried, then nothing.
  17. I'm having the same problem trying to run genesis games using the Pico core in retroarch. I can load the content manually through retroarch, though I have to navigate to a file inside the zip folder which is one layer deeper then LB is pointing to... any suggestions? I tried unzipping the folder and importing the .gen file directly, but LB does not recognize it.
