  1. Forgot I posted this over 2 years ago but, alas, there was no response I suppose it's not possible for playlists to show FANART images when no video is present within the DEFAULT theme? I guess I am looking for a hybrid of the DEAFULT and CiriticalZone V2 Default themes (unless it's possible to simply edit the Default theme scripts to do this). I'd like these playlists in the Default theme... to show Fanart background images like this from the CriticalZone V2 theme...
  2. Version 2.0 of the D&D M&M Platform... now with 3D Images! After months of searching through countless images on numerous websites then fabricating nearly 1000 new 3D images, I am finally proud to bring you Version 2.0 of the Dungeons & Dragons Manuals & Modules Launchbox Platform. It now has the following enhancements. 960 new 3D images all created by yours truly using Photoshop and a lot of time and learning. The images may not be perfectly accurate, sized, or shaped renditions of the original book, box, accessory, or component but they are quite good
  3. Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition - Manuals & Modules View File After months of amassing the artwork, descriptions, playlists, and details, I have the first version of the Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition Launchbox Platform! The system contains artwork for around 486 PDF files and 14 Playlists detailing manuals, adventures, errata, character sheets, DM rewards, etc. for use in your 5th edition gaming sessions. This is not a video game system but a PDF e-reader system for Dungeons & Dragon 5th Edition. THERE ARE NO D&D5E PDFs FOR DOWNLOA
  4. I see what's going on now. Under VIEWS - PLATFORM LIST VIEW, BigBox does the following: THEME: CritialZone V2 Default 1. Platform Wheel 1 - NO Platform Video plays but Background Artwork shows for Playlists. 2. Platform Wheel 2 - Platform Video plays in a square box but NO Background Artwork shows for Playlists (just a green glow). 3. Platform Wheel 3 - Bigger square Platform Video plays but NO Background Artwork shows for Playlists (it's all black and empty). 4. Platform Wheel 4 - Square Platform Video plays but NO Background Artwork shows for Playlists (just a green glow). 5.
  5. Visual Pinball - 300+ Clear Logos View File Visual Pinball clear logos pack consisting of 300+ images collected and edited from sites like VPForums, Pinsimdb, Google image search, Hyperspin Forums, and other users' collections. NOTE: These logos may be large and, in most cases, were originally intended for use with HyperPin and HyperSpin. They can be easily resized in HyperSpin and LaunchBox but BigBox apparently doesn't allow for resizing (that I can find). If you need smaller versions of the images, let me know and I will post an update. TO VIE

  7. This is very kind of you to say, thank you so much! Yes, this was quite labor intensive but I did have a good time putting it all together. Finding and using the GhostScript PDF image extraction program proved to be extremely useful and somewhat fun getting it to work as well as it did. Please let know if you need any further information on how to set up the system so it appears like the images above. There are around 18 playlists that I have already created for the system which are included in the downloads from my MEGA site. Image 4 & 7 in the original post shows some of the pl
  8. Glad you like it! Yeah, the default for desktop background change is every 30 minutes, I believe. You can use the VBS script to cycle through the images to get back the Tempest, then just turn shuffle off in the Windows Background settings menu. I'll probably add a few more images in the future. BTW, if you like Dungeons & Dragons games at all, check out my D&D Platform... it needs more love

This is the ONLY Windows 10 Arcade Classics Desktop Theme available anywhere (that I could find)! I know this is not specifically LaunchBox related but it is retro-gaming related so I though I would share. NOTE - YOU DO NOT NEED LAUNCHBOX TO USE THIS THEME. I created this desktop theme for Windows 10 from 33 images and 30 wave files found around the internet and use them for my arcade cabinet. I take no credit for any of the images or sounds but thought I would share the theme in case anyone's interested. I put the Sound Scheme and Images together to create an ARCADE CLASSICS WINDOW

Future Pinball clear logos pack consisting of 700 images painstakingly collected and edited from sites like VPForums, Pinsimdb, Google image search, Hyperspin Forums, and other users' collections. Many of these images are very high quality and most are as close to the table logos as possible. Some have been fabricated by me and others but this group contains tables that mostly have a corresponding video. This set was originally developed and posted by me for Hyperspin. Hope you enjoy. 13. Had to rename some of the image files on the MEGA site as they were a bit messed up. I'll soon be uploading the images to the DOWNLOADS section in hopes they will get a bit more attention there. What would really be great is if someone has Photoshop and CoverActionPro 3 or something similar so I could make 3D books out of all the images. Something like these:I really believe there is an audience for this platform but it just may not be reaching them. In the near future, I'll also be putting together a collection/playlist of as many D&D Video Game products as I can find. Such item
  14. Hello friends! Main D&D video now plays in both BigBox default themes but the background art for playlists has gone missing. This used to work fine... I have plenty of screenshots proving so. SEE POST #2. The video issue must have been fixed in a recent update but now playlist art is broken? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Does anyone know how to configure the BigBox settings so a video plays for the platform/platform category while artwork is displayed for the pl

  16. Well, you're in luck! I just finished uploading the images, database, and video to my MEGA site. You can be the first one to test it out (although you may have to change your filenames to match the XML). I hope you enjoy! https://mega.nz/#F!tZtliI6Q!IrbOa3ig6xz40HV-tN31Ow Have a wonderful holiday and let me know if you come across any errors or problems with the download. I tried to make it somewhat of a bolt-on so all you need to do is drop the folders into the LaunchBox folder. I, hopefully, uploaded all the necessary files. Larry
  17. Thanks, Jason, for the input. I was only going to release the images of the manual covers and backs, not the actual PDFs themselves. I would never share those. If it's OK, I may just link the images to my MEGA site. I did release all these "front of the box" images over on the Hyperspin forums a long time ago and there's never been any issues. I know a lot of people have similar images and descriptions on their websites (such as tsr.bothgunsblazing.com) but I am not sure if they ever dealt with any permissions from Wizards of the Coast. I think I have even seen image logos for Forgotten
  18. Hey everyone, I hope you're having a wonderful day. I've been working on a new LB Dungeons & Dragons system, mostly for personal enjoyment, for quite some time now. I originally made it for my Hyperspin installation but finally decided to try it out for Launchbox. Once I saw how feature-rich LaunchBox is, I decided to rework this D&D system for LB. I extracted the front and back images from all modules and manuals, reworked almost every filename so they are longer and more descriptive, and added NOTES/Descriptions for all 960 files. This took a LONG time but was totally worth it (

  20. I imagine the PS/2 is to keep costs down although I am in no way sure of any of the technology licensing aspects of the hardware. Those are questions for the developers. EDIT: Correct me if I am wrong but also I think PS/2 is one standard while there may be dozens of standards of USB keyboards that may need drivers? Again, cost is my guess. This console is definitely not for the casual observer but for those who perhaps own/owned a ColecoVision (or always wanted to) and want a modern system for modern TVs. All this can be easily played now with an emulator and any number of hardware dev
  21. Hey Everyone! If you a fan even somewhat of the ColecoVision, this may interest you. A group of savvy engineers from CollectorVision just implemented a Kickstarter for their new ColecoVision Phoenix Console http://kck.st/2ynKCVn I am NOT affiliated in any way with CollectorVision, this console, or the Kickstarter (other than backing it myself). I am just a big ColecoVision fan and am so happy to see this get released. Here are its amazing features: - Compatible with ALL original ColecoVision game cartridges! - 100% Accurate! - Region Free! - Worldwide Compatib

  25. I'm guessing that if you're using the FREE version of Launchbox your download speeds are throttled. Maybe I'll invest in LB someday but I've already put a lot of money, time, and effort into Hyperspin, EmuMovies, and RocketLauncher. I would like to be assured BEFORE I buy that if I paid for LB this wouldn't happen but until then I can only expect the same slow download frustration with the paid version.
