  1. Complete Nintendo 64 3D Carts Pack 1G1R (USA, Europe, Japan)

    View File

This pack is to complete the @EmuMovies one. I only made about 100 missing images (most of them Japan version), and put it together in one .zip file.

This pack is named exactly as the latest No-Intro Romset.

If is there any problem uploading this complete pack, just tell me and i will remove.

  2. The Definitive Audit "Tool"

    View File

This is not exactly a tool, but can be easily used to extract an almost perfect 1G1R from their Romsets.

To do that, just create a .txt file like the example one and rename it from .txt to .bat and execute it inside the ROMs folder.

Note:  Only Official Released games are included in the lists. No Protos, Unlicensed, Demos, etc.

Note 2: A lot of cells are linked to others, so better not modify them manually. You can navigate by pressing each System Name on the Index Tab, and go back to Index by pressing "Go to INDEX" button on the System Tab :P

If any wrong game or any question, feel free to notify/ask me.

Hope it helps people to sort their rom collection.

Also found that if they import and some are missing, you can do the exact same import 2 or 3 more times the exact same way and get lucky and get them all import!

I tried that, but sometimes you need more than 10 times to get all imported. I guess this is not the way it should work. If "Import duplicates" is checked, it should import the same exact number of games you drag to LB.

I tried to import 906 Sega Genesis roms, launchbox imported 856, 50 were missed. To identify the missing games is hard, I got a listing of the directory -popped that into excel, got a listing of the Launchbox database for the Genesis, popped that into excel & then used excel view “side by side” to compare. I identified 11 missing games by the time I got to the end of F. Imported all 11 manually. If you can import it manually and it works then the problem is with the program importing wizard, I hope this gets looked at and fixed as I got roms missing on all my systems. Its impossible for me to go through all which I am missing, my launchbox reports 16752 games, of which there could be a few hundred missing.

We have the same importing problem/complaint, link to mine

The "easiest" way to know which ROMs weren't imported is:

    1. - Put LB view in List Mode --> View > List View.

2.- Select all info and copy to excel sheet.

3.- Delete all columns except "Application Path"

4.- Copy the Application Path info to a .bat file to leave like this:

    mkdir _Sorted

    move gamename.zip _Sorted

    move gamename2.zip _Sorted

    move gamename3.zip _Sorted

    .....

    .....

run the .bat file inside your ROMs folder.

The ROMs not moved into _Sorted, will be the ones not imported by LB.

Note:  "Application Path" column shows roms like this:     ..\Games\ROM_Path\gamename.zip.

To put "move" word before rom name and "_Sorted" folder after, just use replace tool in your text editor:

    1.-  Search all "\..\Games\ROM_Path\" --> Replace by "move "

2.- Search all ".zip" --> Replace by ".zip _Sorted"

Hope this helps to identify the not imported ones.

  5. Hi @seaview59 ! I come again to see if is possible to "extract" this missing Game Boy Color Clear logos:

Pumuckls Abenteuer bei den Piraten (Germany)

    Pumuckls Abenteuer im Geisterschloss (Germany)

Three Lions (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It,Nl,Sv) (GB Compatible)

Wendy - Der Traum von Arizona (Germany)

I guess both Pumuckls Abenteuer can share logo?

    Thanks in advance!

  6. Hi all!

I created an excel sheet to self help me sorting have/missing games for each platform. But i think also can help other people with its build, so i'm gonna share it.

This post do not pretend to be a colaborative one, but if is there any bad info detected, just tell me and i will check and modify if necessary.

This sheet also have an utility using the row "FORMULA", which can be used to copy games from romsets to another folder. The use is as simple as creating a .bat file with the files inside and a @pause at the end. Just an example:

    mkdir _GX4000

    copy "Barbarian II (Europe).zip" _GX4000

    copy "Batman - The Movie (Europe).zip" _GX4000

    copy "Burnin' Rubber (Europe).zip" _GX4000

    copy "Copter 271 (Europe).zip" _GX4000

    @pause

The rule i used to do the lists is based on a 1G1R with USA as priority and then Europe for the non USA Released Games. I only added Official Released Games. No Protos, Demos, Unlicensed, etc.

    Enjoy!

    Console Audit.xlsx

  7. I downloaded every rom (except 1) from the SNES wikipedia page with a total of  784 Games (719 USA, 62 Europe and 3 of the 4 championship cartridges).

Imported all to LB, but don't know the reason only imports 780 of the 784 even checking "Import Duplicates" option.

This are the not imported games:

         - International Superstar Soccer (USA).zip

         - Rex Ronan - Experimental Surgeon (USA) (En,Es).zip

         - Uniracers (USA).zip

         - WWF Super WrestleMania (USA).zip

    Is there any reason?

Did you restart the PC with LaunchBox open? May have corrupted your data files. I would look in the back up folders and restore the most recent backup and see if that corrects the issue.

I don't remember to restart the computer while LaunchBox was Running, but i did what you said and it fixed the problem. :)

    Thank you very much!
