  1. Hi Rlad, Thanks - I've tried that and cannot seem to get the correct dimensions. Doesn't help that once you've overridden the default box - the height, width, depth - all have to start from 1.000. Plus within the NIntendo G&W range - there are so many variations on box sizes that getting it right for one type would make another look strange. Obviously these are early days for the 3D engine in Launchbox - hopefully it'll improve such that a box's height, width, depth would be generated proportionately to one another.
  2. Super Mario 64 N64 spine (the logo wasn't re-touched properly)
  3. Popeye TableTop: Nintendo G&W (front, back, sides and top)
  4. Mario's Cement Factory: Nintendo G&W front, back, sides + top
  5. US Gold company logo: enlarged, cleaned up (if useful to anyone!)
  6. One thing I have noticed sine Launchbox 13.0 - even though I've created box fronts, backs and spines for the Nintendo G&W series, the spines look too wide in BigBox compared to the raw files. It's quite clear that even though the spine is the exact height of the box front, the width of the spine seems way too wide. Not sure what's happening here???...seems OK for other platforms in BigBox
  7. A little like Jonny Severn and SirCamel, I've been cleaning up box art for years now (I've hit 10,277 successful submissions to date....somehow). I don't have photoshop or anything fancy, just a few old art packages, some good free websites for enlarging images, creating transparencies and finding out what fonts are used - AND perseverance!). My biggest submission project to date has been the reconstructed Nintendo Game & Watch boxes (all previously uploaded to the Db) - which started as a challenge to myself to see how far I could push / punish PowerPoint - but my OCD drove me to recreate all the boxes inc. as many regional variations as I could (I'll upload one here as example). I don't have a lot of time - so I cannot take on any requests....but hope what I do upload helps someone out there to either use as is or take to the next level if they have Photoshop. First uploads: The Last Ninja - C64 Cassette version (front, back and spine) N64 Box Spines (28x USA Boxes, 2x EUROPE) Nintendo G&W (Chef - front, back, L+R spine, T+B spine) I'll keep posting as and when I complete anything...but as this is simply a hobby...no guarantees when
  8. Hi garbanzo, I tried looking at Commodore 64.xml under Launchbox/data/platforms and searching for "The Last Ninja" - but the ID is in hexadecimal. But then I took your advice and (making a backup first) edited and removed the wrong version of "The Last Ninja" (below) from metadata.xml and then re-scraped and it worked - so thank you. <Game> <Name>The Last Ninja</Name> <ReleaseYear>1986</ReleaseYear> <Overview>Ahoy! 1986/09 (Issue #33), Loadstar #244</Overview> <Cooperative>false</Cooperative> <DatabaseID>159366</DatabaseID> <CommunityRating>4</CommunityRating> <Platform>Commodore 64</Platform> <CommunityRatingCount>1</CommunityRatingCount> <Genres /> <Developer>Ion International, Inc.</Developer> <Publisher>Ahoy!</Publisher> </Game> I have changed this (wrong) "The Last Ninja"'s name in the Db to "The Last Ninja (Ahoy! Issue #33)" and I see that yesterday's metadata refresh has not reflected that yet - so I'm hoping that this will be a permanent fix (i.e. making the name unique). But thank you.
  9. I've used LB for a couple of years now and have 1000's of entries (~8700). I've just reconciled against a cloud sync and came across the wrong "The Last Ninja". What I have is the (arguably famous) 1987 game by System 3: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/6114 What the scraping keeps finding is a game with the same name that was released on a magazine cover disk in 1986: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/details/109366 The file I have is called "Last Ninja, The.tap" within the Commodore 64 game folder. I have tried the following with no luck: - Dragging and dropping - Adding using the ADD button - Trying to correct / search for meta data using EDIT (note that I've tried searching on "The Last Ninja", "Last Ninja" and "The Last") I've made sure that I've refreshed the local Db, I've tried adding the year after the name. So I'm not sure what the answer is...ideally - The online db needs to show the LB ID and the local client needs to allow a manual entry of this ID to scrape against or - The logic behind the meta data scraping needs to return all games with the same name under a single platform Obviously if I'm missing something here - happy to hear back, but I believe this may be a fundamental Db / client issue with how they handle unique games with the same name
