its a full set from a repeatable site. wonder if the name is different and thats why i cant find them in launchbox. What would be the file name for tmnt?

Hello, hoping i can get some guidance. I have mame set complete merged .0212 . Everything works on mame and launchbox. My question is, there some games missing on this romset that i thought were included. Games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, superman, punisher , aliens. What rom set has these awesome games and how can i combine them in launchbox without breaking anything? i believe you can only have one set or mame arcade games per launchbox build, no?

re installing windows and re installing launchbox fix the issue. Windows permissions was all screwed up. thank you all for the quick response. Much appreciate it.

thanks for the quick response team. Jason Carr, i think you are right, i just the noticed the same error when launching onedrive. this is defenetly a windows issue. Im going to re install windows and then re install launchbox. will report back once its completed. Is it still safe to re copy the launchbox folder back after i do this? i backed it up just in case i had to re install windows.

so i renamed the folder to launchbox1 and re installed it to the default launchbox folder, at the end of the installation it tried to launch and i get the following error "unable to execute file: c:\users\gaming\launchbox\launchbox.exe createprocess failed ,code 740. the requested process operation requires elevation."

looks like it gets to the very last step before it launches and then it just closes

no, i read that some where, what is that? antivirus?

i tried deleting the CefSharp folder, as per another post, but that did not work.

Hi Guys, Looking for some guidance. New computer, windows 10 64 bit, 250 ssd hard drive , 8 gig ram. Installed launchbox and was working for the first day or two. Today i turn on the computer and when launch launchbox, i see splash screen, but it crashes when it gets to "launching interface". Not sure what to do or how to fix this. I tried re installing the app from the backup folder but no change. Im afraid to delete the launchbox folder and re install as i don't want to loose all the art work and media. i uninstalled avast antivirus thinking it was that but it wasn't. Any suggestions?

disregard, user error lol, i may have had a bad neo geo rom set. i copied a new set from my desktop and all working now

strange thing is that if i use the option to import files instead of folder, it adds and scrapes the neo geo rom correctly. I think this might be a bug??

i know this is an old post. I'm having a similar issue. i have all mame roms imported and now when i try to import my neo geo roms it only imports 27 out 182. Its almost like launchbox knows some of them were already imported in the mame section and skips them. any idea how i can get launchbox to add and scrape this folder and neo geo roms without skipping any?

wow, the fundamental simple theme is light/has videos and runs better on the slow computer..thanks neill9000

Yea, thats what i thought, was hoping there was a way to have the videos play at a lower resolution or something like that. Ill just turn off the videos for now, works ok with the videos off. I knew i was going to run into some issues because of the limted hardware, still its a fun project finding out and trying different things on low end computer. Still having big box on the go is really awesome. Im hoping in the near future they will add options to select on big box for low end computer that would auto adjust settings for that. is there any other themes geared towards lower end computers in bigbox?

Hello all, first time posting here. I have bigbox running on 2 computers with 2 lifetime licences. Loving it. Works great no issues. Recently i decided to work on a mini project. I wanted to bring the experience on the go. I purchased a dell 5175 windows 10 64 bit tablet. Its a 10 inch tablet. Purchased a ipega telescopic controller that sits on both sides of the tablet. Fresh windows 10 install, latest drivers and 256 nvme ssd drive. The tablet's hardware is as follows: 6th Generation Intel Core m3-6Y30 2.2GHz, 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3L Memory, M.2 500 GB SATA Class 20 Solid State Drive and Intel® HD Graphics 515. The little tablet is not bad. paid 200 dollars for it. so far i have been able to play all emulators all the way up to Nintendo Gamecube and Nintendo Wii. The issue I'm having is that when i use bigbox, when i have videos turned on, big box lags when switching between systems. I was wondering if any one can give me some tips on what to adjust to improve this. if i turn off the videos its a lot better, but man the videos are so cool. I also wanted to add, that for some reason when i switch the video player from vlc to windows media, it seems to work better. I'm using the default theme. Any tips or advice would be appreciated. i got the art on mame now,looks great, so on some games like soe neogeo games the edge art makes the game to small, what is the name of the setting in the menu in mame where i can toggle on or off the edge art for some games.

i have to download 1 game at a time? do they have 1 download with all?
