i see an option for play! in launchbox, but i tried that as well, it just kicks me back out to launchbox.

what other ps2 emulator can I use? damonps2 is not an option in launchbox

Hello, first time trying to launch 3ds from launchbox on android, and it just takes me to the citra main menu screen. i did download the latest Citra MMJ Storage Access Version from this link but still will not launch from launchbox? any suggestions? this is where i got the latest version from. https://github.com/weihuoya/citra/releases

Im having a similiar issue. i have a galaxy s20 running android 11. i have the games on my sd card , the games launch ok when i launch from within Aethersx2 but when i try to launch from launchbox it just brings me into the Aethersx2 menu showing a list of my games. has anyone found a fix for this?

hey jason, wanted to make a suggestion. Rather than trying to understand Androids weird storage decisions, why dont you put an option to store the media (video snaps, images, audio) on sd card. this way you dont need to move the whole launchbox folder. for example. Retroarch on android has an option to select a different location/directory for overlays and config folders. doing it this way your not really changing permissions and your app stays in the android location withouth causing any issues. what do you think?

Cant wait, not going to lie, running launchbox on a mobile phone, its really freaking awesome. cant belive i didnt try this before. was using hacked nintendo switch to run retro games.

what worked for me, was letting launchbox donwload the medial to my android phone

i noticed an option for mame4all, but after i download and install mame4all , when i launch the game with launchbox, i get an error that mame4all is not installed even though it is

i tried for years to use mame on android, and it would either not work, or work for limited roms. i found that mame4droid works for almost all the roms

i got it to work with the video snaps, looks great, really happy with it.

I followed the instructions and moved the folder to my sd card, and now launchbox will not launch. i had re install it again . i have a samsung galaxy s9 plus running android 10.

I finally got around to setting up launchbox with my android phone. works great! the issue im having is that im using mame rom set .253 and using the mame4droid,and several different android mame apps to run the mame roms. Some of the roms dont work with these mame applications for android. I read in several forums that the android mame applications are not compatible with the lates rom sets. Does any one have any experience on what is the best mame rom set to use with android as far as compatibility ?

the issue was the installation was corrupt, i uninstalled and re installe the apk and now i have the option for themes, it was completely missing from the menu section

it would be nice if there was an option in launchbox to at least point to the sd card for media like the way retroarch does. retro arach allows you to store the bezels/overlays in a different section like an sd card

either, the galaxy s9 only has 64 gb of internal storage, it quicly filled up after downloading all the video snaps. i was hoping i could launbox from the sd card, but i read in another post that its not possible with android 10 and above.

Hello, i downloade and installed launbox for android on my samsung galaxy s9 plus. How do i actiavte themes? all I see is a list of platforms. I downloaded a few themes and placed them in the themes folder but I still dont see any option to activate themes.

Hello, launchbox users here for years but first time using android. i donwload and installed launchbox on my samsung s10 plus phone. I have imported my gamecube library and nds library. I cant figure out a few things. how do you activate themes? i only see a list that says platforms. also how do you installed launchbox to sd card. i have an sd card were I have the roms stored in.
