Next up one side of flyer reconstruction to english, shouldn't take as long as the previous one as there are good sources to work with. This one will also be a community first.
-
Phew, finally finished, I don't know why I stick so much time into this but it is a lot of fun to do haha, don't even know atm if it's a crappy game or not but it doesn't matter, it seems to be somewhat rare seeing the hard to get/unavailable english flyer art in high res scans. Note however that it's not a 100% accurate reconstruction of the official version, this one has less spelling mistakes and I kept the images of the buttons from the japanese version, so actually this one should be nicer than the official english version, sometimes the designers did quite a lazy job for english translations. Stitched together version and flyer 2 seperate below. Feel free to use with your own projects.

Yes its very easy to do so, does this tutorial explain what you want?

Thank you, good to hear

You can make changes like this as a game database moderator, don't have a link ready for information about becoming a moderator but it shouldn't be hard to find.

Todays project: full translation and reconstruction of Ninja Master's MVS instruction flyer. High quality scan of japanese version is available but the english version only in low quality photos, on the road again! Source material

Thanks bro! Here's both sides, front side isn't done as securely as the back side. Anyone feel free to use for whatever purpose.

Now english isn't my main language but is it me when this sentence feels like 'engrish'? Should keep it for historical preservation though. "When you get the item, the powerful and showy deathblow attack is exploded."

Yeah i'm a bit in a flow lol, thanks bro!

I saved the hardest games with missing or low res art for last, hence the increasing restorations/reconstructions. Mutation Nation MVS instruction flyers reconstruction, previously only available in low res photo's, turning out nice though with enough sources to work with. Work in progress, one part done, starting second part of flyer:

Don't let it get to you though, not one second, it is time wasted and there is only so much time an individual has, priority is staying focused, feel the support and love your passion. Cheers man, you have made some revolutionairy piece of software and continue to do so, with an ever growing community of people that grow around the core of this program and all things that evolve naturally around and out of it, it is quite a thing to be very proud of! I enjoy it more than I can expres, every day and minute. Just so you know.

Restoration Sky Skipper Bezel Orion's Angel request

You are welcome although it isn't finished yet! High res vectorized coming up, takes a little time still. -
By request bezel art restoration of a very special and rare cabinet, @Orionsangel made a great reconstruction already from video stills which I can work with. Now I hope it's gonna look well in the end but I'll try. The reconstruction by Orion's Angel: Clean up, color correction and recreation of small missing border pieces, pre-vector state: Next up the end result.

Mame works alright with bezels when launched in launchbox or via mame itself but when launching in bigbox (I guess then the marquee screen and the bigbox ram and gpu usage gets added to the whole) I get echo/repeat/stutter audio and game lags with some bezels, not all! I especially get lag when going from full to cropped view, but I don't know if you guys should help me with this as I am going to move to a newer PC anyhow, Nvidia, I5 and 16gb of ram, that should resolve all issues I bet.

Scaled, cleaned & minor custom translation for previously Japanese exclusive MVS kit. Anyone feel free to use in your projects.

I'm running on a somewhat slower machine but am going to switch to a modern pc within a few months, current setup includes: crt-geom-hack in bgfx on latest mame, bezels, external marquee monitor, 1080p and a humongous mame library (around 9 to 10.000 entries) with videosnaps in bigbox, which I still have to make smaller by deleting games, bigbox scrolling runs quite slow within the mame library list but that's understandable as the other platform lists are quite smoothly running in comparison with less games. After the tweaks yesterday its running mame games well again at the moment, specs are: cpu: AMD A10-5700, 8GB ram, gpu: HD7660D , I guess I put it to the test with the above mentioned setup lol. I copy pasted some text, hence the weird outline, sorry.

@Xpendable I had the exact same issue with echo / repeating sounds from Mame when using bezels, marquee monitor and launched via Bigbox not via Launchbox or Mame itself. I have tried all sorts of options the last hour and finally found the cause. When downloading bezel art the accompanying .cfg files must have had some sort of incompatibility I guess as they where causing the problem, I deleted the .cfg files so mame could start with a fresh configuration file for said game and voila no more lag/echo audio. Only small downside is scaling and aligning the screen again to match the bezel art but I had to anyway. I hope it might help you although I also lowered the ram usage in Launchbox settings from 2 to 1 gb and checked clear ram when launching game, but the echo only went away when starting with a new cfg file, could be a combined solution all in all.

Another complicated one, I couldn't find a high quality scan of the Last Resort MVS kit instruction flyer in English, found a few photos online and started restoring, reconstructing and translation from the reference photos to the english version. It's not perfection (gotta limit my time spend on each marquee) but it looks nice on the marquee screen from a small distance, in the end. Feel free to use it in your projects if you need it, last image is the full quality .PNG file. Finished Result:

I don't know where I should place this so I just place it here. I want to thank the contributors to the game database, people contibute enormous amounts of data and work, I can't even imagine the amount of hours they put into this, especially the person (or persons?) who just finished the MSDOS library and I think just started on the master system as well (but that could be another person?) it is amazing to say the least in terms of hours, knowledge and research that are being put into this. Thank you! Just so you know it doesn't go by unnoticed
