    No. Strictly Visual Pinball.

I honestly hadn't thought about making one for FP.  I rarely use it, but I may take a look at what's all's involved with it. (just don't hold your breath. ;)

Come on Joe, YOU CAN DO IT!!!  xD:D. I got about 1000 tables. Would be a great tool. Keep us posted?

No. I use Device images when scrolling through my Platforms in my Bigbox theme. When scrolling, and I land on a Device image, the startup sound for that system will be triggered. This is a new feature in the Community Theme Creator-or what ever its called.  For example, when I scroll through and land on PS1, the startup sound will plat for that console. And when I land on Visual Pinball, I have a sound of pinball tables being played.

I was thinking I may add a trigger for the Device image to fade away, and your commercials to start playing once the startup sound is finished.

Cool, maybe if you get it going you can share it with us. Thats kinda how my Fading Elegance v1+ theme does now

Thanks for the mention 😄 All credit must go to you though, for all your hard work 👍

Were you able to get it downloaded? I just now got it uploaded here. And again, thanks for the suggestions. I hope you enjoy it.

This is exactly what I wanted! Thank you soo much. This theme will be perfect for my full build with retro systems and modern PC. I really appreciate it 👌👍

Good Deal. Maybe I will go ahead and do the rest of the views, then upload the theme as a different option. What ya think?

Thank you! I really appreciate it 🙂

Go to the theme folder>Views and rename your HorizontalWheel1GamesView.xaml to something else, then drop this one in there. Is this kinda what you are looking for? It is setup to rotate your fanart every 5 seconds.

    HorizontalWheel1GamesView.xaml

I have the opacity set at 10%. I tried 15% but some of the fanart bleeds through too much

Your shutdown xaml code has a background color brush that is giving the image a shade. I take it you used the default theme as your base. Remove the lines below and it will remove the darkness of the image.

Your the man, you were correct and that did it. I gotta fix the text now, ya can't hardly see it...xD

@The Papaw Thank you for replying. That would be awesome! I'm currently using

    Platform Wheel 2

    Horizontal Wheel 1

Just touching base with ya. Been trying to get the matching Startup/Exit & Pause Themes finished, just about done with them. Will msg ya with some examples to make sure we are on the same page.

Hi @The Papaw , I've just asked @y2guru and this is the reply...

Disable mute on the user defined properly of the user defined video UI element.

    Hope that helps

Awesome, I can't believe how much time I spent on trying to figure that out. I even done video format conversions and everything. I sure never seen that little thing. But it's there. I should have asked sooner I suppose. Thank you both.

Any chance you know how one would go about adding some of the new "_Theme Components" elements to a theme already created? I tried copy-n-paste from y2guru' example and that didn't work right.

The Papaw, are you referring to where he says he explains a little trick? If so, he is explaining how you could have the Theme Creator and Bigbox running at the same time. You could publish your theme in the Theme Creator, and even though it would error and say that Bigbox was currently running, you could click ignore and it would still publish and you could switch back and see the changes in BigBox. I don't believe the latest versions of the Theme Creator let you do this but I could be wrong. In the video below dated Jan 12 2020, starting at 14:50 he goes over this. He starts by demonstrating doing this to check a view with the Clear Logo and then goes on to say (at around 16:17) he does this all the time when working with wheels because he doesn't have the wheel showing in the theme creator.

@JaysArcadeI suppose I should have quoted the entire post, it was about asking how to have the wheel displayed in in CTC instead of having to go back and forth to BB, maybe the above is what was being referred to and I didn't understand it correctly when I read the original posters question about being able to actually see the wheen displayed in CTC? Thanks for replying. @neil9000, thx, as well??

I cannot specifically answer that, but would suggest since the date of that post you quoted was 1/15/2020 go back to the upload around that date. I think Dave only had one upload in January 2020.

Thanks, Yeah I tried that, watched them from 12-19 thru 02-20. Maybe he has taken it down?

Subscribed? yes you can subscribe to my YouTube channel.  no, you are not missing anything in regards to the wheel, there is no preview available as the wheel control is not mine.  If you look at my latest video I explain a little trick that overcomes this shortcoming. as far as references to what the properties do, that belongs to the bigbox documentation.  Ive tried to simplify the wheel setup process by providing the assist options and as there is no wheel assist for left rotation because the wheel does not support it.

Does any one know the title or URL to this particular video? There have been many added since this was posted.

  8. I am trying to set up a condition that will play a user defined video if there are no actual game videos.

The only was I can get it to work is by setting the conditions as  in the screen shot

The problem is the user defined video always loads first and shows, before the actual game/platform video. Looks pretty bad seeing it before the game video starts.

There is not option for a fallback video, like there is for images. Would that be something possible?

I have tried with the user defined video collapsed / hidden, and the just about every combo I can with the values as well.

I assume you mean Max Controllers.

When you were copy and pasting, were you copy/pasting within the same view or across views? did you copy/paste the entire view or just the stack or Max Controllers element?

do you have visibility conditions assigned to the Max Controllers text field? is is set to visible?

Yes Sir, I meant Max Controllers. It is working okay on other metadata fields. It was a copy from one page to another.

Concerning the Conditions, I wasn't referring to the Max Controllers, they are already there

I was asking about adding like 4 additional ones that you could pick from pulling data from say the first 4 "Custom Fields" that you create in LB. Kinda like is done with genre1, genre2, genre3 & genre4.

I have create a custom field in LB for if a game is split screen and another for VR games. I have them working perfect in CTC, but I would like to be able to use a condition on the images it displays, like you did in the above mentioned video showing how to use the alien divider in genres...

  10. I may have found a possible bug. I created a group using a Stack. It has a text, x4 images and metadata for Max Players. The bug is when I try and copy-n-paste it, it appears to paste everything correctly. After you publish, the metadata for Max Players isn't showing. I can create it again, add it to the Stack, publish it and it works.

Also, is it possible to add 4 Custom Fields to be able to use in Conditions like you did with the Genres (genre1, genre2) Like you used in this video @ about 8 minutes. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSmQyksxtgs&t=548s)?

Here are some screenshots showing more about the possible bug. They are showing what was pasted. I didn't check if there were issues copying other metadata.

i believe i have already mentioned there is no animation triggering support when using button a or b

why dont you add another animation frame to once selected to revert the size back lets say after 10-15 seconds (trigger: once selected, start time 0:0:15, revert to original/defined size

    navigation up/down triggers work

navigation center is triggered when the controller has come to rest

First I want to apologize for bugging you so much. I am blown away by what and how much you can actually do with CTC compared to the old way. The excitement can be overwhelming I reckon. I did one theme the old way and that was enough for me. HaHa.

I apologize if I asked before, I really do. I am really sorry. I can make your idea work I believe, just have to rethink it a bit. It pertains to videos, most are around 30 seconds, but some are longer and some shorter, ya know?

I'll really will try to keep from bugging ya anymore. You're an awesome fella, just so ya know. Sure hope I haven't offend ya or have ya pulling out hair or anything. LOL

  12. I sure hate to keep posting, but I am stuck. Working on a platform view. I have an animation triggering @30 seconds to go full screen. I need someway to reverse the animation with a button press like "B" or something.

It is in a horizontal view, and the virtual controller works if I set up the new animation I am trying to add using "Navigational Change" in the setup and click the left/right button on the virtual controller.

But I am not really wanting to actually change to a new platform, only reverse the animation from full screen back to its original size.

I have tried using the "Navigation Up & Navigation Down" to trigger the lastly added portion of the animation, but they appear to be disabled with both the virtual and real controllers.

I currently have it setup as such

Once Selected (this is what expands it to full screen)
Navigation Changed (this is IS returning it to original size when actually changing to a different platform)

I figured something has to go in between the two to make it reverse the first one, but I can't figure it out. I have been tinkering with it for 2 hours....

BTW what is the Navigation Center used for?

  13. I have some elements that fade away after a few seconds and doesn't return until a platform change is done (done with opacity animation). I would like to be able to add something like "Press X" to re-active them. Is that possible?

Is it possible to create a button press of "X" and it restarts or resets the animations again somehow? Or any way to re-activate them using a gamepad?

Pretty new with the CTC. Any help would be much appreciated
